Learning device that is used in schools such as RPP and LKPD did not optimal in
helping learners to build understanding. To solve this, it is necessary to develop a
mathematical learning device which can provide an opportunity for learners to
construct their knowledge. In this study, the ACE based learning is developed to
achieve targets which are expected. The goal of this development is to produce a
device- or software development of mathematics learning based on ACE
mathematics instruction which is valid, practical and effective.
This study uses Plomp Model which consists of three stages; Preliminary,
Prototyping and Assessment. Learning development device used are Activity Sheet
Students (LKPD) and Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). The participants of this
study were VIII7 grade students of SMPN 12 Padang. The validation of this device
was carried out by experts of mathematics education, educational technology, and
language. Learning device is assumed to be successful and practical by seeing it
from the observation of the implementation of learning, filling the practicalities
questionnaire by learners and teachers as well as interviews with learners. The
effectiveness of this implementation can be seen from the results of learners. The
collected data were analyzed descriptively.
The results showed that development of ACE-based learning tools have valid criteria
in terms of content and construction. The device has a practical learning both in
terms of feasibility, convenience and time required. Learning devices has also been
effective in terms of learning outcomes of students. In this case, 65% of students
achieved and completed the Standard Minimum Grade (KKM). Based on these
results, it can be concluded that ACE-based learning tools for math learning in VIII
grade can be declared as valid, practical and effective.

istilah software tu dengan tool. Tapi device lumayan bias masuak sich.
