Resistor
-Resistors act to reduce current flow, and, at the same time, act to lower voltage
levels within circuits. In electronic circuits, resistors are used to limit current flow, to

adjust signal levels, bias active elements, and terminate transmission lines among
other uses.
Capacitor
- A capacitor (originally known as a condenser) is a passive two-terminal electrical
component used to store electrical energy temporarily in an electric field. The forms
of practical capacitors vary widely, but all contain at least two electrical conductors
(plates) separated by a dielectric (i.e. an insulator that can store energy by
becoming polarized).
Rectifier Diodes
- A rectifier diode lets electrical current flow in only one direction and is mainly
used for power supply operation. Rectifier diodes can handle higher current flow
than regular diodes and are generally used in order to change alternating current
into direct current.
Speaker
- A device which converts an electrical audio signal into a corresponding sound.
IC 555 timer bistable
-The 555 timer IC is an integrated circuit (chip) used in a variety of timer, pulse
generation, and oscillator applications. The 555 can be used to provide time delays,
as an oscillator, and as a flip-flop element. Derivatives provide up to four timing
circuits in one package.
555 Timer Bistable
In bistable (also called Schmitt trigger) mode, the 555 timer acts as a basic flip-flop.
The trigger and reset inputs (pins 2 and 4 respectively on a 555) are held high via
pull-up resistors while the threshold input (pin 6) is simply floating. Thus configured,
pulling the trigger momentarily to ground acts as a 'set' and transitions the output
pin (pin 3) to Vcc (high state). Pulling the reset input to ground acts as a 'reset' and
transitions the output pin to ground (low state). No timing capacitors are required in
a bistable configuration. Pin 5 (control voltage) is connected to ground via a smallvalue capacitor (usually 0.01 to 0.1 F). Pin 7 (discharge) is left floating.
LEDs
-A light-emitting diode (LED) is a two-lead semiconductor light source. It is a pn
junction diode, which emits light when activated.[4] When a suitable voltage is
applied to the leads, electrons are able to recombine with electron holes within the
device, releasing energy in the form of photons. This effect is called
electroluminescence, and the color of the light (corresponding to the energy of the
photon) is determined by the energy band gap of the semiconductor.
Push Button Switch
-Push Button Switches consist of a simple electric switch mechanism which controls
some aspect of a machine or a process. Buttons are typically made out of hard
material such as plastic or metal. The surface is usually shaped to accommodate
the human finger or hand, so the electronic switch can be easily depressed or
pushed.
Transformer 9V 22o
-A transformer is an electrical device that transfers electrical energy between two or
more circuits through electromagnetic induction.
