ABSTRACT
The rapid transformation in educational arena is closely relevant to the unstoppable
changing of information technology and communication sector to fulfil the demand of societys
needs. Despite of academic performances in educational system, extra-curricular is equally
important in creating the students performances, multiple skills and self-resilience to encounter
their future challenge. In fact, through the collaborative cooperation between other ministries and
agencies have successfully improved the rhythm of the school extra-curricular with 150 pupils
and limited financial budget. Unexpectedly, Canossian Convent Primary School is well known at
international level through its Invention, Innovation and Design since 2011 after participated in
The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) - Japan Education for
Sustainable Development (ESD) Award, International Invention, Innovation and Design (IIID
Johor) and included, the International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX).
Based on this prior victory, Canossian Convent Primary School, Segamat was nominated in New
Deal for four years. In the other hand, the consistency of 21 st century learning programme has
introduced a learning in form of class situation and online. In the other words, the learning is
with students or without students using their own invention, innovation and design. To be more
specific, Video cam and writing essay are sending through email and these have assisted the
students extra-curricular achievement globally as well as in limited the cost. As a result, the
invention, innovation and design of the students have become catalysed to the success of the
school. Therefore, numerous of success shared by the researcher through his experience in this
field and finally becomes finalist of National Innovation award 2015.
