of all materials related to transmission lines and substations.
12. Selecting the subcontractors for work, fixing their scope, entering into agreement
and fixing of prices for them.

Tender guidelines.
5. Acceptance of Tender schedules (bid documents), from the contractors in

evaluation and comparison of their bids and selection of the lowest bidder
and recommend them to Chief Engineer for further action. The
bidding procedures are single stage two envelope procedure and two stage
two envelope procedures.
7. Negotiations with the lowest bidding contractors for discounts and other
concessions.
8. Issuing of letter of acceptance and other legalities of the contract.
9. Preparation of Technical Specifications (both General and Special) according
to APDSS and APTRANCO technical manuals, contract documents, and
assisting Chief Engineer in signing of the Contract.
10. Evaluating the drawing and technical documents submitted by the contractor
in accordance with APTRANCO technical manuals.
11. Evaluating the technical scores of the contractors based on their past
experience and performance, which are to used during the first stage technical
evaluation.
12. Preparation of Bill of Materials and Tender Schedules for the procurement
Contracts.

works Tadipatri, with 1X100 MVA power transformer. The Contractor is
M/s K. Ramachandra Rao, Hyderabad.
3. Preparation of Bill of Quantities and Tender Schedules for bidding purposes.
4. Evaluating the Interim Payment Certificates and the Final Payment Certificates
submitted by the contractor.
5. Checking and evaluating the technical documents submitted by the contractor.

and 6 nos 11 kV Bays at each Sub Station.
2. Execution of associated civil works such as Control Room Building,
Equipment &Tower Foundations, Cable Trenches, Roads & Drains,
Switchyard fencing etc.
3. Preparation of Bill or quantities for civil works and Payment Certificates for
the works done.

My Role:

1. Execution of 10.8 km of 132 kV DC Transmission Line foundations with


LILO arrangement.
2. Execution of 20 km of 33 kV Transmission Line foundations and 35 km of
11 kV Transmission Line foundations including erection of Concrete Poles.
3. Construction of 33 kV and 11 kV Bay extensions, Switchgears, Capacitors
etc., with related civil works.
4. Preparation of Bill of Quantities for civil works for submission of bid
Documents.
5. Preparation of Payment Certificates for the works done and their
submission with all relevant documentation.
