I wanted to pass on this note about the upcoming event we
are going to be a part of… this is from a representative at the Sunday School 9:45 am
Baptist General Convention of Texas… Worship 11:00 am

Monday, April 19
Offering for World Hunger, is coming to your town! The
ride will begin Monday morning, April 19, at FBC Handbell Choir Rehearsal 5:30 pm
Tuesday, April 20
Ballinger, and pass through Brownwood, Hamilton,
Gatesville, Waco, Belton, Georgetown, Austin, Wimberley, Stewardship Meeting 6:00 pm
(and lots of towns in between), and culminate in San Wednesday, April 21
Antonio, for a total of 445 miles, approximately 70 miles per Fellowship Meal 5:15 pm

Come to Sunday School and church this Sunday,

Thank You … What an adventure! We had 18
students come Sunday for bowling, but after a
tire blowout and jack trouble, we headed back to
Hamilton for ice cream and games! We can't
thank Brenda Edins and Tracy Aing enough for
going with us and for driving and Coach Shannon
Williams of Sydney High School for helping us out
and getting us back on the road!! What a crazy
day but we had a great time!!
We also want to thank the Builder's Sunday
school class for providing yummy treats for us
each Sunday morning!! What a great gift! The
youth appreciate it more than you can imagine!!

Thank you to Pat Gillham and Joyce Spencer for
cooking the meat and beans for our taco salad
last Wednesday! We greatly appreciate your

WEDNESDAY NIGHT MEAL
April 21
Beef Stroganoff & trimmings
WORKDAY FOR TILLIE’S PLACE – Saturday,
April 17, is our date when the playground
equipment for ‘Tillie’s Place’ will be delivered.
We need 15 to 20 volunteers for that day to
work on installation. We will have a supervisor
from the company directing our work which will
take most of the day. If you are interested in
helping with this project, please contact
Bridgette Haile, Jenny Kneuper, or Betsy Killian.
We will have a dedication ceremony at 2:00 pm
on April 25.
Thank You … for the lovely Easter lily. We had
been to Dallas for Gayland’s chemo and it was a nice
surprise to find it when we came home.
