Buko shake is a good remedy for thirst. It made from sugar, ice, milk, and buko.
Buko shake comes in three different sizes, small (350ml), medium (500ml), and
large(1liter). Produced buko shake is in good and fresh quality.

All of the ingredients are composed of coconut meat and syrup, crushed ice, milk
and sugar syrup. The amount of ingredients to be mixed depends on the size of bottle to
produce.
Prinicipal Uses

Buko shake is a delicious and healthy refreshment that will suit for peoples thirst.
Aside from its delicious taste, it also has a good effect on human body specially the
coconut water.
Coconut water helps replenish dehydration conditions of human body because of
its electrolytes and simple sugar. Coconut is also a good remedy for hang over, and it
facilitates digestion.

Buko shake will be surely fresh and delicious. It will be made upon ordering of
the customer. It will come in 3 sizes small (35oml), medium (500ml), and large (1liter).

another branch has opened in Nuvali Sta. Rosa Laguna.
Manufacturing Process
Because 3 products are going to be produced depending on the shakes size, 3
processes are going to be involve in the operation. The following shows how the
manufacturing process of shake according to its size:

The time needed to produce 350ml and 500ml of buko shake is 40seconds and fo 1 liter
is 100 seconds. If each size has equal amount to be produced the capacity of the plant can
produce 600 bottles a day, 200 pieces for 350ml, 200 pieces for 500ml, and 200 pices for 1liter.
The available worker and machine is only one.

Since the product is only buko shake, there are only 2 machines needed fo the production
process which is the blender that will mix the ingredients to produce buko shake and bottle
puncher that will produce hole on the bottle in order to put straw.

The PET bottle cap puncher is a bolt-on type made from stainless material. It has a
weight of 1kg and length of 18 inches. The puncher is heavy duty and is tested to
endure maximum stress. Its tip that will produce hole is pointed that will lessen the
force applied.The puncher will be made in Binan Laguna because readily made
bottle puncher at a cheap and negotiable prize is available there.

reliability and functionability. The blender will be bought at Abenson since Abenson is
the nearest appliance store that has drink machine blender.Abenson is known for its

nationwide. The nearest Abenson located in the business location is Abenson Walter
Mart Balibago.

Buko-Where in Cavite? Why in Cavite??
The supplier of buko is located in Silang Cavite because they sell good quality at a cheap price.
For other supplies like sugar and Alaska evaporada are being purchase in south supermarket
because it is on the way to the designated location site and it is also has good quality because it

is the south supermarket. For the ice, it is being purchase in paseo because the ice there is
cheap and they do not require minimum orders. For bottles it is being purchase near toyato
santa rosa, the name of the manufacturer bottles is McBride. They are the only company that
produces bottles with labels with good quality and they only sell it for a cheap price. Lastly the
straw is being purchase in Binan Laguna because it is near Balibago and unlike other stores
that sell straws the quantity is higher.

Delivery, Payments, and other arrangements with the suppliers

The ice will just be deliver to our store with specific time that we arrange, the
payments will just be pay after the delivery and there is additional charge for the delivery.
For our Coconut, the supplier will just deliver from our house or store and the minimum
order for them is atleast 20pcs of coconut. The payments will be done after the delivery.
The next supplier for our buko is the straw, the minimum order of straws will be 5 kg and
the transaction of payment will be after the delivery.The last material that we will be
needing is the bottles, there are 3 kinds of bottle that we order. Theres 350ml, 500ml,
1liter. There are specific arrgements that we should follow upon ordering and they are
not delivering because they are big company and they just supplying bottles for those
who order 100 packs of bottle so were just picking it up. The minimum requirement for all
of them is 5 packs per size and the transaction of payment will be after getting the
bottles.

The proponents chose this place as their plant location for the following
reasons.First, it is were most people go because of the Bus stations and jeepneys and it
is the center of cities like binan, Sta. Rosa and also Cabuyao. Second, the place is big
enough for the production of shake and often people there are waiting for Bus and
jeepneys, while waiting they can buy Buko shake to referesh them. Third, the choosen
plant site is nearby the suppliers.

Alternative locations
The alternative location choosen is Solenad 3, people now adays go there
everyday especially during weekends. The name Solenad 3 established by Ayala
Coorporation itself is a big help for those who are establish there. It is a great place for

Food & Beverages business, most of the business establish there is Food and it is a
advantage for the M & M buko shake because it is less competitor.

Utilities
The electricity will be provided by the mall since the stall is locatedat a
mall. There is only one socket needed and that will be for blender. Water that will
be used is to clean the used materials such as blender will just be tap water that
will be provided by the mall also.

Waste Disposal
There will be an available trashbin for the customer to throw their trash after
drinking the buko shake.The trash such as bottles will be segragated from other
trash for recyclability process. The trash from production process such as plastic
containers from buko will also be thrown in the trashbin. The trashes will be
collected by the janitors of the mall.
Recycling
M & M Buko shakes is using bottles, the way to help the environment is by
recycling it but the one concern that can affect it is people maybe think that when we
get the bottles that are already used will be use again. The one way that the M & M
Buko shakes recycle is when the costumer throws the empty bottles to the store
trash it will just be collected after the production hours and sell it to the junk shop
with that it will earn money.
