LARGEST TRAILERS MANUFACTURER IN INDIA:
Established in 2006, TATA DLT trailers started their journey with single point aim of providing the best trailers to TATA Motors, after a series of
successful years with TATA Motors, company expanded its journey to the open market with one agenda in its psyche to provide INDIA with
the trailers of international quality. With so much experience in hand in the commercial vehicle industry TATA DLT emerges out as the first

In September,2011 Company started its mega infrastructure plant in Waki, Maharashtra with total capacity of producing 500 trailers per
month, it was just a matter of time that TATA DLT became India's largest trailer manufacturer, with outrunning its nearest competitor by miles.
TATA DLT trailers is one of the biggest brands of trailers and truck bodies in India. They are custom designed using advanced engineering
techniques to suit specific applications manufactured at state-of-the-art Waki plant in Maharashtra.
The TATA DLT facility is run by experts and professionals from reputed organizations across the industry. With its rich experience and promise

Electronics & lighting All TATA DLT Trailers are having side marker with latest LED Lamps, Rear Indication Lamps are
having Reverse, Stop, Left/Right Indication Lamps.
Under ride guard The reinforced side /Rear under run guards are provided according to CMVR rules to cease

Corrosion protection Surface shall be cleaned by shot blasting followed by painting which confirms ASTM B117.2011 salt
spray testing of 500 hours.
Durability We have developed special components for increased durability. This includes used of Rolled beams instead of
crossed beams to ensure longevity and durability of the trailer. New WABCO Braking kit inclusive of LQRV and relay
emergency valve are been used in trailers to increase the tyre life.

COMPREHENSIVE TESTING- All TATA DLT Trailers goes through various


series of testing before they are hand it over to the customer.

An ISO 9001:2008 Certified Company

Breaking Test: After coupling with the prime mover, Trailers goes
through brake testing to ensure proper air pressure is maintained in the
tanks.
Electrical Test: Before the dispatch of any trailer, The side marker
lamps, Reverse light, Rear stop Indication light, right/left indication
lights are working properly
Painting Test: Using the latest technology, The DFT (Dry Film Thickness)
Monitor, the quality of the paint job is checked.
Dimensional Thickness: Overall Length, Width, are ensured to be
according the approved GA Drawings.
Load Test : Load testing is done to ensure the trailer load
capacity is according to the specification required by the customer.
Aggregates Testing : It involves proper functioning of Axle,
Suspension, Landing Leg etc are fixed/mounted/welded as per the
manufacturer instruction.
