Give two Best Practices of the institution

i. Endowment Prizes:
The endowment prizes are instituted by our college.

The chief objective of the noble

practice is to identify and honor the talented students in the field of academic, literary, cultural, and
sports activities on the eve of College Anniversary to create inspiration and competition among the
student community. This practice motivated students to achieve laurels at District and State level
competitions. The endowment prizes are being sponsored by the principal, faculty, Retired
Principals and local philanthropists.
ii. The Awareness on Environmental protection: (Vehicle Free Day, Plastic Free Day & Plantation of
Saplings)
To create awareness among the students community and others, observation of vehicle free
day, Plastic free day and presentation of saplings are taken up.
Vehicle free day is being regularly observed on the 1st Monday of every month so as to
protect air pollution. Vehicles emanate poisonous gases like carbon mono oxide etc. which spreads
out in to the air causing lot of problems to the living beings.
Similarly plastic free day is observed on the 2nd Monday of every month to bring change
among the students not to use plastic since it is harmful to the society. In this way the students are
created an awareness to avoid use of plastic so as to prevent environmental pollution.
Instead of presenting bouquets and shawls to the guests on the various occasions in the
college, saplings are presented to them and the same are planted in the college campus by them.
Students and faculty are motivated to plant saplings in the college campus and in their habitation
