given below for in order to understand the safe
conduct of the experiments, gathering the theoretical
concepts & practical applications of the experiments.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS (cont ..)

1. Pay attention to the instructions given by lecturer regarding
the conduct of the experiments, skills to be developed,
information about equipment, instruments, procedures,
method of continuous assessment, tentative plan of work in
laboratory, the conduct of experiment reporting and
additional learning activities required from the students.
2. Read the write up of each experiment to be performed and
the required completion of the report, a day or two in
advance.
3. Understand the purpose of experiment and its practical
implications.
4. The student shall study the questions given in the laboratory
manual and practice to write the answers to these questions.
5. Student should develop the habit of not to depend totally
on lecturers but to develop self learning techniques.Ready? click / enter

6. Student shall develop the habit of evolving more ideas,
innovations, skills etc. than that stated in the scope of the
manual.
7. Besides published textbook, student shall refer to technical
magazines, seminar proceedings, and referencing to
materials on the internet to refine the subject matter scope
and update their knowledge and skills.
8. Organize the work in the group and make a record of all
observations.
9. Student should not hesitate to ask for guidance when faced
with difficulty during the conduct of the experiment.
10. Student should develop the habit of pocket discussion /
group discussion related to the experiments / reporting so
that exchanges of knowledge / skills could take place

11. Student should develop the habit to react with the lecturer
without hesitation with respect to the academics involved with
the experiment.
12. Student shall attempt to focus on developmental and related
hands-on-skills and gain confidence more than gaining
theoretical knowledge.
13. Write the answers to the questions allotted in the experiment
manual during the practical hours and submit the one
complete laboratory reporting from the group by 9.00pm
on the third working day after the practical session, through
the specified means.
14. Student must develop the habit to complete additional
exercises / assignments / tutorials and to submit them on the
scheduled time and dates and through the specified means.
