Tools for research and public

engagement

The new and improved ASK Bristol discussion forum has received well
over 10,000 visits since its launch in January this year.
The ASK Bristol initiative aims to get more people involved in local issues
through the use of various e-participation tools, such as a discussion forum,
an e-bulletin, Consultation Finder, online polls and surveys, webcasting and e-
petitions. These tools, alongside offline engagement methods, help the council
to more effectively listen and respond to the views of Bristol citizens.
