b u t instead, the s i d e chains are c r a c k i n g t o reduce the weight f r a c t i o n o f
b o t h the t a r and t h e char.
For r e a c t i o n c o n d i t i o n s under 800C, which o b t a i n i n t h e heated
tube r e a c t o r experiments (Serio, et. a1.2),
