MOCK INTERVIEW OF ASHOK

Q: what is common between you and bankers of

tommorow ?
Answer : I keep myself updated and bankers will also
be updated

Q : How did nationalisation help our country ?

Ans : Nationalisation was carried out in 1969 and
1980. Here government acquired more than 50% of
their capital. People could be sure that their money
would be safe. Nationalisation helped us to ensure that
the banks will work for the interest of the country.

Q: Do you favour privatisation of today ?

Ans : I favour nationalisation, but I also favour
privatisation. Private banks introduced massive
customer orientation. Banks are offering far better
services today due to competition. Private sector of
today is mature enough to understand customer and
our social requirements both. Privatisation is in the
interest of the nation and banks

Q : what would prefer working in a goverment

department or working in a private sector organisation
?
Ans: I prefer government department. Job security is
the most important issue now. Due to recession, there
is no job security in private sector. Government job is
now considered to be an important job in the society.
Earning less money in government sector is better
than more money in private sector. Further, you get a
chance to contribute to society.

Q: What are your views on world wide recession ?

Ans : it is reducing every day. Recession is now going
to end. There are strong indications of recovery. This is
a positive sign. I believe that there would be a better
future soon.

Q : - what has prompted RBI to increase bank rate

recently ?
ans: increase in bank rate will reduce liquidity in the
market. This will help us in reducing inflation. When
liquidity will reduce, there will be less money in the
system and this will reduce purchasing power of
people. Ultimately this will reduce inflation. It was
necessary in order to stabilise economy.

Q: Is this massive inflow of money in IPL helpful to

the overall economic development ?
Ans : there are both aspects. There are lots of
employment generations and lots of economic
activities. At the same time there are also adverse
impacts on the economy. Foreign companies are also
taking away lots of money. There are also negative
impacts on our economy. Thus it has both positive and
negative impacts.

Q : - what are your views on parallel economy ?

Ans : This money is not disclosed properly. This
money is not helpful to the economy. There is a need
to abolish parallel economy. The government must
take initiatives to reduce this. If this will continue to
grow, this will create problems for our economy. It
must be checked.

Q : - what are your views on swiss bank accounts ?

Ans : - lots of people from India have deposited
undisclosed money in Swiss economy. This money is
dead money for our country. We must take initiatives
to bring back this money and this money must be used
for infrastructure development of our country. We will
be able to use this money for educational and overall
development of our country.

MOCK INTEVIEW OF ARUN

Q : How do you visualise yourself in next 10 years?

Ans : I see myself as an executive in Bank. I shall
study and learn all about banking. I want to gain
thorough knowledge and expertise in banking.

Q: what have you done so far to build your career?

Ans : I did graduation in science in 2005. Later I
realised that I am suitable for service oriented sector. I
decided to pursue this sector. I believe that banking is
a noble sector. It is a customer oriented sector.

Q. : What should be the role of Government in the

growth and regulation of banking ?
Ans : Government is already playing an important
role. It had nationalised banks. This had build
confidence of people. Central bank regulates working
of banks. The government should concentrate on
developing policies for development of society. Banks
can really transform society.

Q : what are your 3 most important strengths ?

Ans : I am self motivated, and I have persevereance. I
have patience and I love people. I wish to be with
people. I am able to adjust with people.

Q : What are your views about professional ethics

required in banking sector?
Ans : a bank employee has to maintain proessional
distance with the people in general. Banker must work
with his professional discipline. People cheat banks by
forgery, banker must try to ensure benefit of the bank.

Q : what will be the impact of polarisation on world

economic and political scenario?
Ans : I believe that powerful countries will form their
groups and these groups will imfluence the entire
economic systems and monetary institutions in the
world. Their policies will have impact on every
countries. Their economic policies will be influenced
by their interests. Smaller economies will definitely
feel marginalised.

Q: can you visualise a single currency for the world ?

Ans : the exchange rate problems will be solved by a
single currency. If we have a single currency for the
whole world, we will be able to solve many problems.
However, there will be practical issues – will the
countries agree ?

Q : what is dearness?
Ans : it is based on supply and demand. If there is
demand, it results in dearness. If there is shortage of
supply, there may also be dearness. The purchasing
power of people play an important role here. The
policies of central banks are important here.

Q : why is suger so bitter ?

Ans : I believe that this is all manipulation. I
understand that it is all the role of cartels,
associations, politicians and business circles. There
are many malpractices going on. If there is open and
fair market, there should not be so much increase in
prices

q : do you justify unions by officers ?

Ans: unions are for the betterment of people. These
unions work for the development of workers. These
unions help both workers and management. They
bring the issues before management. The union should
also work for the interest of the company.

Q : Is India really a rich country where poor people

live ?
Ans : India is a country of poors. Most of the Indians
live in villages, they are deprived of basic amenities.
There is a lot of gap between rich and poor. India is a
strong economy due to massive purchasing power. It
looks beautiful from top, but it is hollow

Q : you belive that India is hollow?

Ans : if basic amenitie like education, healthcare,
drinking water etc. Are not available, the country is
hollow .

Q : do you justify nuclear bomb factory against

background of hungry population
ans : there are fears from neighbouring couttries.
People at the top must look at the requirements of
commmon people. They must look at the basic needs
of people. They should really look at the people not at
our neighbours. We have to build our economy by
developing cottage industries etc. I believe that testing
nuclear bombs etc. Only show lack of maturity on our
part. We cant be strong just by possessing a nuclear
bomb. We have to strengthen our people,

q : what is your strategy our of our organisation?

Ans : i want a job, where I can interact with people. I
wish to be with your organisation. But if I am not
selected, I shall try to pick up sectors where I can
become either a professor or pick up other such sector
where I can work for social development by being
with people.

Q : which part of our communication really touched

you?
Ans : every Indian understands your punchline. Your
bank is at the heart of millions of people in India.
Since your bank really gives finance to the common
people and is providing facilities to common people, I
find my own reflection in your banking and I believe
that I will be able to fit in your business model.
