Laboratory Results

 Laboratory test are performed to confirm and diagnose a certain

condition before final diagnosis is given.

1. CHEST X-RAY -

Requesting Physician: Dr. Fabiola

Date Requested: April 12, 2010
Date Done: April 12, 2010

Result:

Both lungs are clear. The pulmonary vascular markings are normal.
Trachea is in the midline. Superior mediastrium is not widened. Heart is not
enlarged. Both hemidiaphragm and castophrenic sulci are intact and distinct.
The bony thorax is unremarkable.

Remarks: NORMAL CHEST

2. HEMATOLOGY – used to assess the patient for anemia, infection,

inflammation, polycythemia, haemolytic disease and the effects of ABO
incompatibility, leukemia and dehydration status. It is also used to identify
the cellular characteristics of the peripheral blood and manage
chemotherapy or radiation treatment for cancer.
