2. Installing the Game

a.) Installing FIFA 16
Windows (disc users):
* Insert the disc into your disc drive and follow the on-screen instructions.
.*.Origin will be installed if you do not have Origin
.*.Launch the game (once it is installed) directly from Origin.
* Games on Windows 7 are installed on Start > All Programs , on Windows 8 are ins
talled to your Start Screen and on Windows 10 are located in the Start > All Apps
menu.
Windows (EA Origin Store):
* Once you have purchased the game through Origin, click the Download icon that a
ppears and follow the on-screen instructions.
* Launch the game (once it is installed) directly from Origin.
* Games on Windows 7 are installed on Start > All Programs , on Windows 8 are ins
talled to your Start Screen and on Windows 10 are located in the Start > All Apps
menu.
b.) Digital Retail Installation

Please contact the digital retailer through whom you purchased this game for ins
tructions on how to install the game or how to download and reinstall another co
py of the game.

c.) If your "Autorun" feature is disabled
If for some reason your "Autorun" feature is disabled, you can install the progr
am by running AUTORUN.EXE directly from the root directory of the DVD.

5. Uninstalling FIFA 16
============================================================
For Windows 7, you can uninstall FIFA 16 by accessing "Programs and Features" in
the Control Panel.
For Windows 8 / Windows 8.1, you can uninstall FIFA 16 by accessing Programs and Fe
atures in the Control Panel, or from the Origin client.
For Windows 10, you can uninstall FIFA 16 by accessing Programs and Features in the
Control Panel, or from the Origin client.

6. Memory Requirements

We recommend that you let your operating system automatically manage the size of

the page file.

7. Improving Game Speed
============================================================
There are several ways by which you can speed up the overall FIFA 16 experience:
a)
Lower the resolution in the FIFA 16 launcher application under the Displ
ay Configuration tab within Game Settings.
b)
Lower the rendering quality in the FIFA 16 launcher application under th
e Display Configuration tab within Game Settings.
c)
Turn off the MSAA in the FIFA 16 launcher application under the Display
Configuration tab within Game Settings.
d)
Disable the radar from within the game under Game Settings.
e)
Turn the Commentary Volume all the way down within the game under Game S
ettings.
f)
While we don t recommend turning off your anti-virus software, performance
can be impacted when certain anti-virus programs decide to wake up and run task
s while you are playing FIFA. Some Anti Virus programs have less performance imp
act than others.
g)
Ensure that the Lock to 30fps is checked in the FIFA 16 launcher applicati
on.

8. Hot Keys
============================================================
The following hot keys can be used in the game to access certain functions more
quickly.
To bring up Origin in-game:
SHIFT + F1 (Origin Default Hot Key)

9. Mouse, Keyboard and Controller Functionality
============================================================
You can use the mouse, keyboard or controller to navigate the game interface and
play in-game. FIFA 16 PC allows users to play the game with Keyboard & Mouse at
the same time. Advantages to this over the traditional Keyboard Only controls are
that you can have 360 degree dribbling and do skill moves more easily.
**NOTE: The Keyboard & Mouse control method cannot be used when playing Online m
odes.
Once you are on the Side select screen, you must move whichever input device you
plan to use in the game to the left or the right to select your team. FIFA 16 h
as the ability to use each control device with Classic, Alternate, or 2-button c
ontrols.
Please note that you may have to recalibrate your controllers in Windows in order
to have the game detect them correctly.
To bring up the in-game pause menus, you can press the Start button (if your gam
epad has one) or press ESC.
If you are using a gamepad as your primary control device, within the FIFA 16 la
uncher application you can select the button layout icons that most closely repr

esent the gamepad that you use. Alternatively, if you want to use Keyboard & Mous
e or Keyboard Only as your primary control device, make sure that on the PRESS STAR
T or SPACE screen that you press SPACE or ENTER.
Once in game, you can customize your game experience in CUSTOMISE -> SETTINGS ->
CUSTOMISE CONTROLS. Note: You must enter this screen with the control device yo
u wish to edit.
The use of a 360-degree dual analog gamepad such as the Logitech Dual Action is hi
ghly recommended for full functionality.

11. Notes on Video Card Chipsets
============================================================
If you are experiencing problems with your video card and FIFA 16, try updating
your video card driver by downloading the latest driver available from the video
card manufacturer. If there is no improvement, try using the latest driver prov
ided by the video chipset manufacturer. Your video card chipset is the video-pro
cessing chip located on your video card. If there is no information in your vide
o card manual or website, check the video card for an identifying chip with the
chipset manufacturer's name on it.

Gamers using USB devices may experience uncontrolled menu selections upon playin
