DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cable pulling of pair signal cable from Field Instrument to Field Junction Box
(JB), and cable pulling of multi-pair and multi-core cable from Field Junction
box to Marshalling System Cabinet as per cable schedule drawing.
In-charge cable glanding, cable termination, core marking and cable dressing
as per termination details drawing.
Assist to instrumentation fitter during installation of junction box (JB) and
installation of cable
Tray as per cable route lay-out drawing.

Installation of field instrument such as Pressure transmitter (PT), Temperature

transmitter (TT) and Differential Pressure Transmitter (DPT) as per Hook-up drawing.
In-charge loop checking once the field instrument is completely installed as per ILD
drawing.
Checking the Issue for construction drawing (IFC) if updated and latest revision in
order to avoid discrepancies during installation, i.e. Piping Instrumentation diagram
(P&ID) , Instrument loop diagram (ILD), Hook-up diagram, Instrument datasheet and

etc.
In-charge for calibration both bench and online calibration for FT, TT, LT, PDT and CV.
Verify the site location of the field instrument once the scope of work and IFC
drawing have been issued by Instrument Engineer.
Installation and layout of cable trays, raceways, conduits, instrument stanchion and
supports.
Calibration and re-ranging of smart transmitters/field instruments to reflect
instrument datasheet values and ranges.
Loop-checking and continuity testing of instruments based on prepared loop
drawing packages and schedule.
Assists commissioning engineers during loop commissioning and testing of
systems and Subsystem equipment.
Inspection and checking of instrument materials onsite.
Preparation of site work reports and work progress.
