1. Blanch 12 tomatoes
2. Boil the tomatoes till the skin starts to come of
3. Once the tomatoes are de skinned deseed them and strain the puree in a
pan.
4. In a separate pan add 3tbspns of olive oil
5. Cut one onion and one garlic clove finely and add to the olive oil
6. Once the onions turn translucent and the tomatoes along with 2tbspns of
tomato puree
7. And salt to taste
8. Keep stirring the ingredients till the tomato sauce is thick
9. Add basil a bunch of basil leaves and stir
10.Add the remaining tomato puree if remaining till the sauce is a bit thick.
Same sauce is used for the base of the pizza; it has to be put in the
mixer till it is ground like a paste.
