World population growth

the earth’s population is growing now faster than at any time in history of mankind : up to three
people every second. According to the united nation fund for population activities( UNFPA) ; annual
growth rates are at their highest level.by the year 2050 , population will reach 10 billion people.
Expert warn that the danger of poverty, starvation and ecological damage are increasing because of
this uncotrolling growth, especially in poor contries.Indeed, the more populated a developing contry
is ; the more economic difficulties it has.
As the UNFPA’s report said, 90% of the additional people will be born in third world contries ;
especially in india and africa.easier access to contraceptives and compulsory schooling for girls
should be established by the ened of this century, as time is running out. Bythen. 50% of women
should be literate, families will be rate and the education of women , Indeed ,if women are literate ;
families will be smaller and children healthier. It will therefore be possible to control the world
population growth ad reduce the misery and suffering of millions of people.
the Indian sub_ continent; where rapid population growth continues, is probably the most
problematic.despite long term efforts; India is lagging behind most other poor contries as only 40% of
couples there use contraceptives. according to sharon camp ,vice_president, of the population crisis
committee," if we can get the percentage of contraceptive users in India to rise to 75%; we could be
optimistic".
