My name is WeiLun tsai, I have been using 3d programs more than 5 years. My abilities of 3d
program are creating realistic model include human and creature, and the model follows good
topology which are good for project and animation. I experienced sculpture class that really
helps me when I working in Zbrush. I familiar with uv map arrangement for texture, and use
Photoshop and 3d body paint to achieve different level of texturing. Furthermore, I do believe
lighting is important for the model presentation, so I have good knowledge of lighting field.
Observation helps me a lot, and it’s an effective way in modeling. For a instance, when I decide
to make a project, I start to observe everything in my environment as it is useful for modeling.
All things around my life will become my references and they show me many clues about
“Form,” References are very important and necessary for the artist; nobody can have good
concept without references. If I am doing model of realistic human, I stay somewhere and then
observe people laughing or doing actions. All things will be my motion references which are
better than a static image. Furthermore, I collect many various traditional images such as
drawings or photographs that can increase my artistic sense. I have been doing this effectively
for a long time; however, observation is a powerful tool to make modeling skills stronger.
