C Annual Day Celebration


Introduction:
MC 1: Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen, dignitaries, invited guests,
respected teachers and my dearest friends.
MC 2: It gives me great delight to welcome you all to the 7th annual day
celebration of our school.
MC 1: Vishnuja, what a sparkling and glorious evening this is, its overflowing
with such joyous energy.
MC 2: Yes Devadharshini, It absolutely is. This evening is undeniably filled
with grandeur and enchantment.
MC 1: I would particularly take note the presence of our guests, parents,
guardians present here who have taken out their precious time to watch their
children ooze with talent.
MC 2: All the staff members with participating or helping at the backstage have
put in their best of efforts to make this occasion a reality and we are sure that all
of you will enthuse the students with whole hearted continuous rounds of
applause.
Welcome Address:
MC 1: There is no better virtue than hospitality. So now I kindly request our
respected Vice-principal in charge to deliver the welcome address.

Lighting the lamp:
MC 1: Vishnuja did you know that Light represents Gods presence and spells
the darkness and illumines.
MC 2: I totally agree with you Devadharshini. Its said that Light engulfs us
with heavenly power.
MC 1: lets welcome the divine light amongst us by lighting the lamp.
Welcome Address:

MC 1: Now I heartily welcome the Principal-in-charge, the architect and


sculptor of human character to give the welcome address.

MC 2: Thank you Mam, That was very enthralling.
Prayer Song:
MC 1: Singing is a beautiful form of worship. A great song lifts your heart ,
warms your soul and makes feel the divine.
MC 2: A prayer song revitalizes our soul and makes us dream of heaven.
MC 1: Now let us seek Gods bountiful blessings through prayer song.

MC 2: Thank you friends for the graceful invocation that brought heavenly
bliss.
Annual Report:
MC 1: Now I request our Vice Principal in charge to give the annual report.

Managements address:
MC 1: Ladies and Gentlemen, its a great honour to have such a distinguished
guest among us. I humbly invite -----------------------, a man of great vision and
intellect to captivate the audience with his speech.

be a great pleasure for us to listen to you again in our future events.

MC 1: You are not obligated to win. Youre obligated to keep trying. To the

Culturals:
MC 1:Without taking much of your time permit us to startt cultural
programmes. Vishnuja do you feel some turbulence around here?
MC 2: Yes Indeed do Devadharshini, the heart beats have gone up and everyone
is eager to sink into the depth of music, songs, lights and joy.
MC 1: Well, here you are, Today we are going to have a rainbow of cultural
programmes.
MC 2: Now we are going to be astounded by a welcome dance performed by
the 1X girls.

KG Programs:
Rithvika: Now we are going to witness the amazing talents of our tiny tots. Its
time for the K.G programs.
Rithvika: The welcome address will be given by Sanvi of U.K.G

Viwin: Thank you dear Sanvi. That was very fabulous.
Rithvika: Now we will have the budding buddies of Pre-Kg perform rhymes.

Rithvika: The L.K.G kids will present us with story and dramatization and
amaze us all.

Rithvika: Dear audience you have heard kids tell rhymes but have you ever
heard tell its story. Well here are our U.K.G kids to enlighten you all with their
performance.

Rithvika: Next speech will be given by Lakshith, Keshika and Pavshini of
U.K.G.
Viwin: That was really enchanting little ones.
Rithvika: I hope you are enjoying the talents of our tiny tots and here comes
more.
Rithvika: Now we are going to explore the musical talents of the U.K.G
students.
Viwin: Thank you children. That was really mesmirizing.
Rithvika: Its always great to watch little children turn into great leaders.
Rithvika: Dear audience now its time for the graduation ceremony of our K.G
children

Villupaatu:
MC 1: Story telling is an art form greatly revered by the Tamil people. The art
of narrating tales has flourished in Tamil nadu for many centuries. One of the
traditional storytelling forms is Villupaatu. Villupaatu intersperses music with
storytelling art narrating range of stories from mythological to social.
Now, V.K.Giri Nandhan, R.S.Janagan, A.S.Pranesh of IV standard and
G.Pranesh , D.Tamilarasu, Y.Samuel Rajan of V Standard. are going to tell you
the various aspects of the 5 states namely Tamil nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Uttar
Pradesh and Delhi are going to be told through villupaatu.

MC 1: Tamilnadu is an ancient state packed with tradition and culture whose
legacy exists for thousands of years. Now we are going to experience the
colours of Tamil nadu right now, right here.

Karnataka:

MC 2: Karnataka is one of the leading states in the field of industrial
development both in the private and public sectors. It is a state of great
metropolitan city and grandeur. Let us now have a peek into the state of
Karnataka.

MC 1: The state of Kerala has the highest literacy rate in India.Kerala is very
rich in culture heritage developed through the centuries. Shall we have a look at
Gods own country.

Uttar Pradesh:

MC 2: Uttar Pradesh is studded with places of tourist attractions across to wide
spectrum of diverse interests. Uttar Pradesh can lay claim to the oldest seat
Indias culture and civilization. Its also famous for the Ram temple and Babri
Masjid controversy.

MC 1: Delhi, a true cosmopolitan city diversified culture is the capital of
worlds largest democracy, India. It was know as indraprastha in ancient times.

about working for the development of our country.

Conversation:
MC 1: Now Shenbagavalli of IV standard and Giri Suriya of V standard will
present a conversation about cultural events.

MC 2: Thank you friends and we totally agree with you. We did enjoy the
cultural events very much.
MC 1: I appreciate the seamless preparation of our students to make this
cultural event a memorable one. Every student has been a participated in these
events willingly and enthusiastically
MC 2: Every performance was mind-boggling. And I can be sure of it because
of the generous applause from the audience.

MC 1: Next a special speech will be given by Mohana Priya of XII Standard.

MC 1: The theme for this year is Incredible India. Now our School Students are
going to share with you how wonderful the world is. Sit back and enjoy the

with the world.

Vote of thanks:
MC 1: This evening reminds of Sir Robert Frost he said,
This evening is lovely, dark and deep,
But we have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
Lets mark the end of this formal function with vote of thanks and
appreciation and gratitude to all who made this function a grand success.
MC 2: I request Mohana Priya of XII Standard to propose the vote of thanks.

Finally, all good things must come to an end.
