Welcome events/Orientation Days are organized at the
university three/two days before the semester starts.
Buddy system. A Polish student is appointed to every
international student. Furthermore, at each faculty at WrUT
there is an academic coordinator who helps with academic
issues an international student. Staff scholarship holder
have an appointed research person.

Language Support available


to EM INTACT participants:

Department of Polish Language for Foreigners at Wrocaw


University of Technology offers Erasmus students (LPP,
Mundus) free of charge Polish language courses (60 hours
per semester, twice a week per 1h 30 minutes) and free of
charge courses of Polish history.
Erasmus students (LPP, Mundus) have the right to choose
a course of one of foreign languages run by the
Department of Foreign Languages (DFL) at Wrocaw
University of Technology (from 30 to 60 hours per
semester depending on a foreign
language).

Accommodation:

Our dormitories are situated within easy travelling distance


of the university buildings. The range of facilities offered
varies but most dormitories have areas for study and
recreation, cafes, kitchen facilities, laundry facilities, car

parks and are a safe and friendly environment for you to


study in. The price of the dormitory ranges from 280 to 320
PLN (60-80 EUR). The cost of electricity, the Internet,
water is included in the price.
There are mostly double rooms in the dormitories.
Bathrooms are shared by a few students. Single rooms are
also available, however they are in the first place for
students with special needs or disabilities. There are
kitchens with cookers on each floor.
If you want to use Internet in the dormitory you should have
your own PC/laptop. You can also use our computer
laboratories with free Internet access in our campus open
24 hours a day 7 days a week in this case you do not
need your own computer.

Yes, it is possible at Computer Engineering specialisation. Applicants must have at least a
bachelor degree, preferably in computer science or in a related area. Applicants with a
bachelor degree outside of computer science must demonstrate significant proficiency in
computer science. Any area of requirements can be satisfied through courses completed at
the bachelor level or by suitable experience.
