Part 1 :

Origins of America
1- Concept of the nation of immigrants, which implies that all are different
2- but all are connected by their common beliefs (E pluribus Unum) of leaving behind the aristocratic or
oligarchic political system which is negative
3- and the belief of creating the First Democracy (unlike the Greek's, not reserved to an elite? notion of
slavery!), All men were created equal a futuristic political system.
Part 2:
justification of the inevitable destiny of the USA making this new political system the system of the
future, because it is more natural than monarchy or oligarchy, in so far as:
1- it corresponds to physical obsrevations, and is scientific on that respect
2- it is a system of mutual respect, and thus balanced
3- it has always proved to bring more happiness within any society in which it was (even partially)
implemented.
Part 3:
America will do better because:
1- it has better roots not made by war for territories like all previous European or Asian paramount
civilizations.
2- not started with a war but with quiet settlements (the aborigines will appreciate!), apart from the War of
Independence, which was a war in defence of basic human rights.
Part 4:
America shall not be checked by any other nation in its desire to promote Democracy as:
1- It abides by the rules of God
2- It has no wicked intentions (beneficient objects in our hearts)
3- It has no blood over its infant hands (people precisely ran from tyranical lands of oppression)
4- It will refuse to become like the European Gates of Hell nations but will ensure democracy
Part 5:
America shall spread in territory:
1- far-reaching, boundless future because of its greatness
2- it's a manifestation of God's great principles to Man
Therefore, its limits should be:
1- On land: a full Hemisphere, including many republics (federation of nations) and hundreds of millions of
souls.
2- In the air: the stars (a reference to the new scientific developments with ballooning?)
All this led by godly principles of equality and brotherhood (reference to the French philosophers:
Liberty, Equality, Brotherhood).
Part 6:
America shall not step back, refuse its destiny as:
1- it would dissolve individual and collective freedom
2- it would let men fall back into some form of slavery or other
3- it has to convert the world into a land of freedom and equality
4- It is the new chosen land and people (God-chosen)
Conclusion:
America is destined to greatness because it was founded on the principles of the peoples' right to selfdetermination. Thus, it promotes equality, freedom and respect and their implementation, which
implies: brotherhood. Indeed, it wishes for everyone to get the same around the world. But, as a
second thought, it also promotes direct help to change dictatorial political systems into democratic
one, as it would have been chosen by God to accumplish this mission of creating Heaven on Earth as a

preparation of eternal bliss.

This is quite contradictory as it aknowledges freedom of conscience.
Thus we have the two opposite visions and principles which prevail in turn in the political decisions of
the US governments:
a) Isolationism: let everyone decide what form of government, what freedom they want (secular or
religious, etc)
b) The Right to infer with others: in order to promote freedom, democracy, free trade.
