I am eternally grateful to my lovely wife, Rev. (Mrs.) Florence Chigbundu and
my four energetic boys, Emmanuel, Faith, Mike and David for their consistent

I must not forget to thank my childhood friend, Pastor Godwin Okafor for the

PREFACE
Discovery is the bedrock of all inventions that have ever taken place in the
world. Man is daily involved in endless research to discover the best and more
efficient ways to deal with various human problems. Man meets one problems
or the other as he moves from one stage of life to the other.
Therefore, man's search for solutions to his various problems are endless, as
one discovery would usually lead to some new problems, leading to yet another
discovery to improve what he has already discovered. One discovery leads to
another discovery, and the circle continues endlessly. These discoveries have
helped man to escape the dire consequences of his ignorance his greatest
disease.
DISCOVER TO RECOVER are the key words in this book. The discovery you
will make after reading this book will lead to your recovering what the enemy of
your soul has stolen from you.
Of course, Until you are in the know, you will not be in the flow. Until you
discover, you may never recover. Yes, unless you discover your potentials, you
may never realize how much impact you can make in your society or your
immediate environment.
It is a well-known fact that until a man discovers what is wrong with him in a
given situation, he will have an uphill task finding a solution to his problem.
This lack of knowledge has led to multitudes all over the world wallowing in
untold hardships. Many people live the life of trial and error. They try one
method after the other n order to solve their ever increasing problems. Many
eventually end in more complex problems than they had ever imagined.
You may wonder why this is so. The Bible, God's word, is very explicit
concerning this:
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6a)
Friend, do you know that the difference between a winner and a loser does not
depend on physical energy but on the knowledge each possess, based on
discovery or lack of it?
Those who seem to have made it in life today are not necessarily more educated
than others; they may not have been born with the proverbial silver spoons in
their mouths. The secret behind the success they have achieved lies in what
they have discovered through knowledge and the accurate application of it.
This is the secret behind their dreams becoming realities.

Let me show you a Bible story to illustrate my point. Look at Genesis 28:16:
And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, surely the Lord is in this place;
and I knew it not.
Here was Jacob who did not know that God the Father, the Owner and Protector
of his life was right there in the same room where he was. He was ignorant that
the source of his miracle and breakthrough was there, in the same place he was,
until he discovered it for himself. But he had to awake out of his sleep to discover
that God was where he was. He recovered himself as soon as he discovered
God, and thereafter lost the fear of his brother, Esau, forever.
This Bible incident is where many find themselves today.
Ignorant Jacob did not know how close God was to him. Today, many people are
running from pillar to post looking for the God that is closer to them than they
can imagine. They do not know that the solution to their problems is with
them. The miracles and breakthroughs they have been seeking for have been
there all the time they were running around.
I call on you to wake up of your spiritual sleep. This must happen before you can
discover the source of you problems. This discovery will then lead to your
recovery, just as Jacob discovered before he could recover.
DISCOVER TO RECOVER is a great spiritual eye opener. I intend to provoke
you into serious thinking; I wan to push you to a place where you will take a
retrospective look at you past and discover how your past is affecting your
present.
You must Discover to Recover. Do you know you were not born to be a loser?
Nobody was born a failure. Nobody was born with bad luck. You were not
created to live in poverty. John wrote that Jesus is the light that lighteth every
one that cometh into the world (John 1:9).
Light represents progress, success and victory. That was what you were born
with when you entered into the world. Darkness was not part of the package you
entered the world with.
But let me ask you: where is that light now? Why are you now covered with
great darkness? The answer is in this book. You must discover what has
happened to your light, and then you will be on the road to recover your self
from the darkness that has covered you.
Let me show you how you were born a winner.

You became a winner right from your mother's womb. Listen to me. Medical
science has it that a husband releases millions of spermatozoa into his wife's
uterus in order for an egg to fertilise and become a foetus. That was what your
father did, and during the race inside you mother's womb, you outran the other
spermatozoa and got into the egg in your mother's ovary that produced you.
Others could not make it; you reached there before them. They, therefore,
declared you the winner, gave up the race and died.
Your victory started from the womb; nothing could stop you then, so nothing
should stop you now. That was how you started life: a winner. You have no right
to live as a failure. Why must you? Why? I ask you. You must realize the way you
started life so that you can reject anything contrary to your character. It is not in
your character to fail.
Friend, brace up yourself: you were created a winner, a victor and an achiever.
Yes, you were created to live in abundance. Therefore, rise up and change this
handwriting of setbacks, failures and poverty written all over you. Here is the
secret:
