Summary:
The goal of this activity is for children to use their gross motor skills and capturing
pictures by incorporating technology in the classroom. The Tv will be playing the
video to give children a visual image with it being plugged up with the tablet; a
camera to take pictures of the children. The second day children will play a web
based game with animals.

The lesson will take about two hours. I will be splitting the lessons into two days,
with each lasting an hour.

Instructional Procedures:
Day 1:
First 30 minutes: The teacher will talk about what the activity will be on today and do a short
story about farm animals.
10 minutes: Once their done with these first 30 minutes children will do exercises and other
things of movements to get their bodies ready and active.
Last 20 minutes : Children dance and do the sounds to Old McDonald ; teacher will be taking
pictures with camera
Day 2:
First 20 minutes: Children will do a web based game where they can feed, groom and virtually
take care of their farm animals.
Last 10 minutes: Recap the last two days

This site is directly for Birth through kindergarten where students can find out the standards and
ideas to do with this age group; it also lets you know what and where they should be at.
Differentiated Instructional Support: To meet the needs of gifted or accelerated students I
will have them search up images that go along with the activity to make sure they are included.
