Addressing a press conference at Press Club, Kolkata in West Bengal, BJP

President, Shri Amit Shah launched seething attack on Congress, Left Front and
TrinamoolCongress fortheplightofWestBengal.ShriShahappealedtothepeople
ofthestate tovoteforBJPin thecoming electionandgiveBJParulingopportunity
toendthemisrule,corruption,terrorism,andinfiltrationinthestate.

BJP President informed that

there wastime,Bengalusetoleadthenationwith
contributing 25% of the total GDP ofIndiaalone.Duringthemisruleofcongress,
it slipped downto13% andfurtherhittingtherock bottomto4%during 24yearsof
the left ruled Government.The currentruleofMamataBanerjeealsodidnotchange
the scenarioasevenafter fiveyearsofTrinamoolGovernment,itisstill4%only.He
stressed that the West Bengal is suffering because of the illegal infiltration and
termed it a national threat. He said, the current rule sees them to be a vote bank
whichisaddingmoreproblem.

Taking a dig at Trinamool Congress, Shri Shah added that

inklingof 34years of
left rule is reflecting in Trinamool Government. He added,
hardly there has
been any development duringthese5years contrarytherehasbeen rampant
starvation, fear and corruption all around the state.
The Trinamool
Government is just moving on the footprintsoftheLeftGovernment inthese
pressing issues.ThechitfundfraudhasstartedduringtheLeftruleanditwas
furthernurtured byTrinamoolGovernment and itsosarcasticthatboththese
partiesareallegingusforthismess.

BJPPresidentsaid,It is suchapainthattheleftgovernmenthasledtothecloserof
industries and the present rule has also not made any attempt torestoreit,infact
the bomb making factories got encouraged during this period.

he opined. He said,
the downfall story of the state written by Mamata
Government on the name of transformation, the public would never forgive
her. He further said,
the Trinamool government has onlygiven 'Bhay,Bhookh
aur Bhrashtachar' to the state instead of its sloganeering of 'Maa, Maati aur
Manush. He said that the whole Trinamool government is bellyful sinked in
corruption.

Speaking ontheNaradaSting,ShriShahstatedthat
ifMamatadidifeelsthattheir
men are clean from the allegation, she should hand over the probe to CBI

immediately so that the truth come out clearly. He added, also on the moral
ground, the sting calls forthedisciplinaryactiononthoseinvolvedandthey should
be sacks with immediate effect. But the chair seems to be more important than
anything else for her. He said, the hard earned money of the people is not the
concern for her but her chair must be protected, Trinamool Government has been
completely exposed on this account. Shri Shah demanded from the election
commission that those police men and the police commissioner involved in trying
false sting on BJP leaders to entrap them, may immediately be put under
suspension.

Takinga dig at theTrinamoolCongressandtheLeftparties,BJPpresidentsaidthat

the Communists and TMC are the two sides of the same coin
. He recalled,
"when the BJP fought with renewed vigor,then TMC &Left gotworried andBiman
Bose immediately ran to the West Bengal secretariat. I want to remind you that
Mamata didi told Biman Bose at the time that we both are friends and the real
competition is with the BJP." Shri Shah said that we alsobelieveinthesame,
We
will never compromise withneither the Trinamoolnor the Communists in any
case. In response to a question asked on the alliance of the INC and theLeft,he
said, in Kerala,they are in fighting onetoonebattle against each other butinWest
Bengal, they are in love for the power in state. He said, I can expect this from
Congress because theycangotoanyextincttocomeinpowerbutIwanttoaskthe
Leftthatwhatisyourprinciplesofpolitics?

BJPPresident,Shri Amit Shah saidthatweseekvotestogettheridofcorruptionin

WestBengal, fordevelopment in the state,tobringlawandorderbackontrackand
toprotectthestatefrom Infiltration. Hesaid,I wantto urgethevoters togiveBJPa
chance, we will restore the pride of the state andmake itadevelopedstateofthe
country.
