We plan for future requirements of pharmacists in the country, taking into consideration the demands
of the healthcare landscape in the future. Pharmacy education should be constantly revised and
updated to meet tomorrow's challenges. With growing inter-linkages in the world, international

B. Pharmacy
Pharmacy is the branch of science which deals with the study of
chemistry of drugs, their origin, procedures for drug development,
their preparation, dispensing, their effects and eventual use for
prevention and treatment of disease.
The aim of this course is to prepare graduates to deal with the
current challenges offered in healthcare. This degree will give the
students all fundamental expertise in aspects of medicines &
drugs. Students will gain the practical and professional skills
needed for stimulation, challenging and varied career in pharmacy.
During the studies, you develop skills in all essential functions of
medicines & drugs programs, build your paramedic skills, Learn to
reflect on what you have learnt, examine a range of health and

Pharmaceutics is a multidisciplinary applied science concerned with delivering and


maintaining appropriate drug concentrations at target sites in the body for appropriate
times (thus, alleviating disease by optimizing drug effects over time).The department
specializes in the science and technology associated with innovations in drug
delivery.Main emphasis is to develop department as a genuinely learning organization that
knows how to acquire and create knowledge, how to cultivate and execute it.Holistic
development and grooming of students as good professionals and persons also

Pharmacology
Pharmacology has become a diverse science that probes basic mechanisms of molecular
and cellular function with the knowledge that unraveling these mechanisms will lead to
new therapeutic approaches to a variety of diseases. The Department of Pharmacology,
therefore, has a unique role within the basic biomedical sciences: to conduct
investigations into the fundamental principles of cell function and translate these
findings to clinical applications.

Quality assurance
Quality assurance is a wide ranging concept covering all matters that individually or
collectively influence the quality of a product. To pop-up with the global industrial as well
as research demand, the department guides the students on areas of production, testing,
and distribution of medicines. The department also guides about the regulatory affairs,
international regulatory standards on several quality related issues, which include stability,
packaging, storage, and bioequivalence.

Bachelor of Business Administration


Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a highly interdisciplinary three years
full time graduate degree program affiliated to Suresh Gyan Vihar University with
which graduates can either launch their professional career or progress to pursue
a post-graduation program. ISBM Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

course. The 4-year course study is further divided in to 8 successive semesters of 6
month each. One entire semester students are being sent to for INDUSTRIAL
EXPOSURE to major 5 star Hotels. This exposes them to their future roles and help
them to start growing in a professional manner.
The students are exposed to core domains such as Food Production and Nutrition,
House Keeping Operations, Food & Beverage Services, , Front Office Operations,
and so on. Apart from working in such domains, the course study offers adequate
entrepreneurship skills in the candidate to start up their own ventures. The courses

Bachelor in Hotel Management Travel & Tourism (BTTM)


Buoyant by the overwhelming Industry demand and keeping in view that the
Hospitality Travel and Tourism Industry, which is directly linked to India's economic
prosperity & growth, GyanV ihar School of Hotel Management has started a 4 years
Bachelor Degree Course in Hotel Management Travel & Tourism (BTTM) from the
ensuing academic session 2011-12. The course is approved by University Grant
Commission. The course will provide in-depth academic as well as practical
exposure for the students to acquire the required knowledge and skills in all
operational areas of Travel Agencies and Tourism Organizations. The integral part of
the 4 Years curriculum is the 20 weeks Industrial Exposure Training.

Diploma in Food Production


The course provides in depth academic and practical knowledge on culinary skills
which equip students in food production department. The course covers all the
areas of kitchen in various hotel and restaurant chains.
Bakery & Confectionery
This department is equipped with sophisticated equipment installed to provide
training of basic Bakery and confectionery products such as Breads and Morning
Bakeries, sponges, pies, cookies, biscuits, pudding, souffl, mousse, different
types of gateaux, tarts, , pastries, and chocolate works.

Quantity Food Kitchen


This lab is oriented to sow seed of Indian regional Cuisine of North,
South, East & West, As the name suggest this kitchen imparts practical
training and develop skills of the students for Bulk or QUANTITY Cooking .
Advanced Training Kitchen
Hotel industry caters to the people throughout the world. So, in advance
training, kitchen students are imparted practical knowledge of global
cuisine, making them master of culinary.
Basic Training Kitchen
This lab is oriented to sow seeds of basic items of kitchen like stalk
making, vegetables cutting, soup making and knowledge of cooking
methods, basic spice and herbs, seasoning and consistency.
Demonstration Kitchen: This kitchen is oriented to sow seeds of
demonstration of fusion, regional and continental food by corporate
chef, executive chef and chefs.

Food & Beverage Service


Food and Beverage Service is one of the core operational subject in the
BHMCT curriculum. The students are taught about the service and
managerial aspects of operating the various food beverage outlets.
Restaurants are key to hotel industry.
A 42 cover restaurant along with a Bar is fully equipped particularly to
impart the practical knowledge of Food & Beverage. F & B Management is
a specialized core department of the Hotel and most General Managers
come from this stream.

Front Office
The Front Office is the most visible department in a Hotel. From the time
a guest makes a reservation and arrives at a hotel, up to the time he or she
departs, the front office personnel plays a central role in meeting the
guests requirement. The Front office is the main reception area & the
students are trained to deal with various operations of the same. The
proper courtesy and etiquettes are must for the front office people along
with the knowledge of various major spoken languages and customs
throughout the world.

ACCOMMODATION OPERATION
One of the other major area in a hotel is the Accommodation Operation. It is
basically the lodging and housing, that one looks for, away from home.
Housekeeping, care and maintenance of the hotel and efficient servicing and
control of guest rooms is the key area of responsibility. It contains training of
fully automated laundry & guestrooms. In-depth study of interior decoration of
the guest room is also a part of Accommodation Operation.

Facilities
The department has full-fledged work station for 36 students for practical
culinary preparations and the department organizes Regional, National &
International Food festivals, All India Annual Chef Competition, SGVU Quest,
incorporating seven areas of competition- culinary skill, food and beverage
quiz, menu card, flower arrangement, cocktail and non- edible display product.

Ph.D degree. The degree is awarded in recognition of high academic
achievements, independent research and application of knowledge to the
solution of technical and scientific problems in various disciplines such as

How long will it take?


Your period of registration will vary according to the option whether to study
full time or part time. As a full -time research scholar for a Ph.D, thesis can be
submitted after 24 months while a part - time research student can submit
after 48 months. Prior to submission research scholar has to give Pre-Ph.D
Presentation.

What is involved?
After you complete your research, the results are presented in a hard bound
copy of your thesis. The length of the thesis is usually 40,000 to 80,000 words,
depending on the subject of study and method of presentation. The
examination process leading to your award consists of two parts. Firstly, your
thesis is assessed by at least three examiners, one internal and two external,
which will be followed by viva-voce examination.

Course Work
The course work for the doctoral research has been made mandatory by the
UGC. Suresh Gyan Vihar University has decided to implement this on the
immediate basis for the benefit of the students pursuing Ph.D. The course
work is designed in such a way as to support, motivate and encourage quality
research. By undergoing this course work, the student will get equipped with
fundamentals of research methodology, scientific communication and also
recent developments in the field of specialization. The course work has to be
completed by the student in a satisfactory way before submission of his/her
thesis for the award of Ph.D degree by Suresh Gyan Vihar University.

Admission Process
Ph.D admissions are based on norms of Ph.D as per UGC Guidelines 2009. Ph.D
candidate are admitted on the basis of Pre Ph.D entrance exam conducted by
the SGVU in the month of July & January every year. Candidate seeking
admission in Ph.D program needs minimum 60% marks at the qualifying exam
or equivalent in the respective post graduation. Once your application is
submitted online it is forwarded for scrutinization & further processing to
Dean Research. Your admission will be confirmed only on qualifying the Ph.D.
Entrance Test and subsequent interview.

Transition to Renewable Energy
The transition from a fossil fuel driven energy system to the renewable energy based
systems of the future requires a concerted effort for capacity building in the area of
Renewable Sector. An estimated potential of solar power and wind in India is projected of
the order of 748980 MW and 100000 MW respectively.
Rajasthan has the highest Solar Power (142310 MW) potential in the country with its
healthy resource of solar radiation and availability of vast land in the form of the Thar
Desert. The Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) was launched on the 11th
January, 2010 by the Prime Minister. The Mission has set the ambitious target of deploying
20,000 MW of grid connected solar power by 2020 is being revised to 100000 MW by 2020
by the government of India.
According to Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) as on June 2014, there are
483 Manufacturer in the Renewable Energy sector.
CII and MNRE underlined that there is a projected potential of more than 5 lac jobs by 2020
in the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency sector.

The anthropogenically induced Climate change and its variability are
matter of global concern. United Nations framework convention on
climate change defines it as the change in climatic conditions due to
human activities which is synonymous to global warming. The Climate
change, in general, is supposed to affect the various sectors of human
welfare very adversely. In recent times, several studies around the globe
show that climatic change is likely to impact significantly upon freshwater
resources availability. Water scarcity is already a problem in many parts of

Central Library which is at par with International
standard and a separate library in each school to
provide an easy access to a large database of reading
resources to its students and staff with various
academic pursuits. Our Library provides general and

effectiveness of its collection and to enhance and

library staff by training and providing them with

and development. Suresh Gyan Vihar University is the member of Delnet providing the facility to their
students to access the Delnet Database. They can get the millions of e-books of various disciplines and

The SGVU library and the convention centre develops an unwinding effect in the scholars with attainment

SGVU regularly keeps on holding National & International level conferences and seminars on various
themes and disciplines. In order to cater to the diverse needs of the participants and the presenters, the
University hosts number of seminar and conference halls. The seminar hall in the main administrative
building has the seating capacity of 208 persons with a conference hall with the capacity of 50 people.
School of Business Management building also hosts 02 spacious seminar halls which can accommodate166
persons each. Each seminar halls are well equipped with latest audio visual facilities.

The conventional centre with its beforehand and in


vogue facilities is spread over an area of 40.000 sq.ft.
houses a World-Class auditorium & theatre, which
can comfortably seat more than 700 audiences at a
time. Equipped with latest cutting-edge state-of-theart Light, Sound and Projection Systems, it provides
excellent back-stage facilities with green rooms
which can accommodate more than 100 people. The
theatre stage is big enough to screen four plays at a
time with several practice stages. The mini
auditorium with an audience capacity of more than

Earn while you learn
In the final year the students get mostly involved in their Project work as the theory
courses get completed by then. The meritorious students, who maintain high CGPA
8.5 and above till the end of pre-final year, may have an option of working as Tutors
in tutorial and lab classes of First year students of the same program. They may be
treated as Tutor Assistants and suitable financial assistance may be provided to such
students.

Evaluations and Assessments


The degree is awarded on the results of continuous evaluation and end semester
examinations taken over twice in a year. The assessment is a combination of weekly
tests, sessionals, mid term exams and performance at lab apart from final
examination. Courses are divided into credits and after every semester students will
be given semester grade points (SGPA) out of 10 points. Final results for awards of
degree are based on cumulative grade points (CGPA) of various semesters.

PHP with MY SQL and Intro to RUBY


This program aims to provide technical skills to become
'Professional Web Designer' and 'Internet Entrepreneur'. The
University conducted training on PHP with MY SQL and
introduction to RUBY for its CS and IT students. All successful
participants will get a Certificate of Participation after the
completion of the program.

In today's competitive business world, it is essential to keep pace with


rapidly changing technologies. Professional Certification is a powerful
tool that benefits the students. Training is a learning process that
involves the acquisition of knowledge, sharpening of skills, concepts,
rules or changing of attitudes and behaviour to enhance the
performance of individuals. Basically, training is a practical approach for
transformation of students.

CCNA Training Program


The widely accepted IT certification programs available through
CISCO Certification brings valuable, measurable rewards to
network professionals. It has been planned for B.Tech (CS/IT)
and MCA students.

IBM Training Program


'IBM Professional Certification' is both 'a journey' and 'a
destination'. It is a business solution. It validates student's skills
and demonstrates his/her proficiency in the latest IBM
technology and solutions. The training organizes for CS, IT and
MCA students.

PLC & SCADA Training Programs


PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) were developed to provide
a replacement for large relay based control panels. These systems
were inflexible requiring major rewiring or replacement
whenever the control sequence was to be changed. The term
SCADA usually refers to centralized systems which monitors and
control entire sites, or complexes of systems spread out over large
areas. Most control actions are performed automatically by
Remote Terminals Units (RTUs) or by Programmable Logic
Controllers (PLCs). Host control functions are usually restricted to
basic overriding or supervisory level intervention.

Machine Design (CAD/CAM) Training Programs


The Faculty members from Department of Mechanical
Engineering have been conducting training of Machine Design
using CAD/ CAM Software such as Ansys, Pro-E, Inventor,
AutoCAD Mechanical, etc. We are also progressing towards the
establishment of a separate, 'Training and Design Centre' only for
CAD/CAM/CAE.

Training Program on Embedded System and Robotics


'Embedded Systems and Robotics' training is for its Electronics and Communication VI
Semester students in collaboration with Appin Knowledge Solutions Pvt. Ltd. In this
Training program the trainer will provide robotics simulation knowledge and techniques
which help to convert computers into a simulated industrial robot within a complete 3D
learning environment. Free online test is conducted by Appin Knowledge Solutions Pvt.
Ltd. A student scoring minimum of 50% marks in the online test will get global
certification.

Core Java Training Program


It trains how to write Java applications that can run across multiple platforms seamlessly
and reliably. Java training course provides extensive experience with the Java language
and its object-oriented features. Sun Certified Java Programmers and trainers are
associated to impart lectures and to help students to maximize their potentials as Java
developers. The University, in collaboration with 'Centre for Electronic Governance'
(CEG) has conducted Core Java Training program for its CS and IT students.

RedHat Linux Training Program


High security feature of the Linux operating system makes it most popular and job
oriented course among all. The RedHat Linux training program was launched in the year
2008. Since then, this training is regularly conducted by the RedHat Academy and
RedHat Certified trainers impart lectures to the MBA (Information Technology) and
Engineering students.

Training on ANDROID Development


The most important technology concern for today scenario as most of the mobile APP
based on the ANDROID so it may be very much helpful to job success specially for
programmers. The ANDROID Development program training was launch in year 2013
for the student of CS &IT since then the training is regularly conducted.

Global Connectivity
"It is truly said by one of the Visionary that in the 21st
century, the age of information, only three things are
needed Bread, Clothes and Bandwidth. On the same lines
Suresh Gyan Vihar University had taken a global step by
increasing internet Bandwidth for its campus wide
network to 1 GB. The university has created cyber space on
its fully 500mbps Wi Fi campus with internet bandwidth of
1GBPS directly from the National Internet Backbone . The
internet @ Suresh Gyan Vihar University is as fast as local
area network and to make the internet Bandwidth future
proof, the university has deployed Gigabit fibre optical
technology (GPON) from BSNL. The network is so smart
that it can provide direct connectivity with National
Knowledge Network (NKN) which is one of the Network
between premium institution like IIT's, National
Laboratory., NIT's IISc ,IISERer. The Internet bandwidth of
1GBPS is divided among all stake holders of the University.
All students can access a vast resource of information
through high speed Wi-Fi campus wide network based on
latest technology like wireless router, Smart Switches,
optical backbone available on the internet.

Computer-Internet Labs
The University has implemented a rich lab infrastructure,
excellent maintenance to ensure lowest machine downtimes and high quality instruction system reflect the
institution's thrust on technology. The refurnished
University labs houses over 750 Pentium IV machines with
seamless internet connectivity through network clients
like Ethernet and Internet Explorer and powered by 1GB
fibre optical connectivity. The labs currently operate a
TCP/IP network running under Windows NT and Novell
networking protocols. The labs also manage and maintain
high performance workstations and computing facilities of
the whole Gyan Vihar campus including classrooms,
conference halls, faculty rooms, accounts, secretarial and
administrative office.
New application-specific terminals are being added to the
lab. Several latest design software now form part of Gyan
Vihar's rich holdings. Students are being trained to
produce their own newsletter and magazines by using the
most advanced software.

Amenities

Cafeteria & Refreshment kiosk


We have a spacious and well furnished food zone, which serves all
delicacies from paranthas to chow mien, pastries to sandwiches and
shakes to coffee. This is the place where students refresh their minds
with delicious food and melodious music. There are three refreshment
kiosks in SGVU campus i.e AMUL, NESCAFE, Humtum and Continental
food zone.

Health Zone
There is a state-of-art clinical health facility in the campus. A well
qualified and experienced general physician is looking after all the
necessary medical requirements of the students, as well as of the
faculty members. A good stock of all the necessary medicines including
antibiotics, antiallergics are available within the campus so that an
emergency can be handled at the earliest.

ATM Facility
SGVU offers ATM facility within the campus premises, with counters of
two banks namely, ICICI Bank, AXIS Bank and Cooperation Bank to
facilitate access to bank accounts in order to make round the clock cash
withdrawals. The ATM facility helps the students as well as faculties for
all the financial requirements in emergencies and regular purposes.

Bank @ Campus
Suresh Gyan Vihar University is attached with one branch of Corporation Bank to
meet all the bank related needs of the students and faculty. The students residing at
hostel are very happy with the bank facility available in the campus. It has become
very easy for the students to send or procure money from their native places.
Corporation Bank provides all banking facilities to student and staff of SGVU at
University campus.

Open Air Theatre


An Open Air Theatre within the campus to organize cultural programs and other
entertainment activities has been built up and it has the capacity of 1800 persons .

Education Loan Facility


SGVU has tie-ups with Syndicate Bank and Axis Bank for education loan to SGVU
students. Candidates who fulfill the education loan criteria can get easily loan from
these Bank.

Transportation
SGVU provides convenient transport facility with pick up and drop off points that
are suitable to all students. The SGVU has its own dedicated fleet of buses available
to the students and faculty members for commuting from various points in the city
to the University. It also provides special bus services for students to the nearest
shopping area on weekends.

University Guest House


The University has a well designed guest house within the campus to provide the
accommodation for teaching & administrative fraternity and parents of the
University students who are visiting the University on official or personal basis. It
has ten AC and Non AC rooms with a waiting lounge providing all the convenient
facilities and services to our guests.

extravaganza of SGVU is there every year, with new creative ideas and talents. In Suresh Gyan Vihar University, education ensures a balanced, integrated
personality of its students and to make them shine with their talents. X-ANIMO is a such a platform where students, staff, and scholars from various colleges and
Universities from all over the country get the opportunity to showcase their ability to innovate and prove themselves through music, dance, poetry, and other

students, abreast students with latest trends and to upgrade their knowledge and skills.
EXUBERANCE hosts a galaxy of events like Business Plan, Case study, Business Quiz and Intellectual
Events like Virtual Trading, Fun Events like Roadies, Treasure hunt, Cultural events like Group Dance,
Fashion Show etc.

SPORTS WEEK
Students need to learn how to handle defeat & how to absorb win, sports only thing which can teach
them for this. Today, students do not get enough time for games or physical exercise. It is only in
schools, in their games period, that they get time to play a little. In order to provide our students the
maximum opportunity for participation in games & sports & also to develop in them a sense a healthy
competition Gyan Vihar University conducts different sports activities, namely Cricket, Basketball,

Pharmacy week is celebrated in the month of November every year. It comprises of different

amongst future pharmacy students. Village/street corner & shopping centre campaigns are
held for promoting pharmacy services & free advise on disease.

India is Innovating (I3), An Innovation and Technology Expo is an initiative taken by Suresh
Gyan Vihar University. Conceptualized in December 2014, India is Innovating carries out the
Vision to showcase innovation and research in every aspect of life. We believe that technical
and scientific creativity can take shape in anyone and everyone. As a National Technical Expo,
it is a place for young designers, engineers and scientists from across the country to come
together and present the work they have done. I3 provides a platform to focus on the
projects created by the youth of today in fields of Science & Technology. The creativity and

Over the past 10 years, the issue of changes in climatic conditions around
the world has become a major focus in the international debate on
environment and development. There is mounting evidence that our
climate is changing and will continue to change for the foreseeable future.
It has to be assessed, adapted and mitigated by overall efforts. The
objective of the convention was to bring together experts, stakeholder's,
academicians, researchers, scientists, government officers,
entrepreneurs, innovators, practitioners, livelihood activists, opinion
leaders and spirited individuals collectively to a platform for scientific,
social, economical and political deliberations and interactions.
Suresh Gyan Vihar Universitys Annual Convention on Climate Change and
Water (C3W) is a global consortium to foster local, national and
international conversations to unified voice that will guide and influence
people, institutions, and governments on how to best address the issues of
climate change, water crisis and sustainability. For last two years it is
successfully bringing together all communities committed to saving the
planet under one roof. Climate discussions should not end with political
and scientific leaders, but concerned global citizens should have a voice as
well which is provided by C3W.
The Scope of the conference will continue to successfully cover the
following areas : Environmental Science and Technology : Environmental
dynamics, Meteorology, Hydrology, Geophysics, Atmospheric physics,
Physical oceanography, Global environmental change and ecosystems
management, Climate and climatic changes, Global warming, Ozone layer
depletion, Carbon capture and storage, Biofuels, Integrated ecosystems
management, Satellite applications in the environment,

The fourth Convention SGVU-C3W-2015 was, successfully


organized on 16th-17th Oct, 2015. The convention was
participated by around 1000 persons with various
backgrounds. It was also a multi cultural conference with
participants from different parts of the country. Apart from
the major segments on Technical/Scientific sessions which
were divided in seven major symposia, where approx 42
lectures on various scientific disciplines relating to climate
changes were fruitfully deliberated, around 10 important
panel discussions were held. Also around 200 scientific
papers from various researchers and students were received
and published as Abstract book.

Doctor's Day : This event organizes through India is Innovating by the Pharmacy Department. On this day, a panel of
Doctors from various hospitals around the city joined us in the Main Seminar Hall. They increased the awareness about
H1N1 virus and Swine flu. They also discussed the new innovations happening in the field of medicine.
Bike Day : Innovations in automobiles and discussions on traffic rules were discussed on this day. In terms of
reputed technology, we join by Royal Enfield who provided several of their motorcycles for slow bike race.

Law Day : This event was organized as a part of Innovation Week by the International School of
Business Management (ISBM). Student discuss the topic on today's law and order.

Builder's Day: This event led by the Civil Engineering team for Innovation Week
under India is Innovating. The discussion on Green Buildings and JDA-Builder
policies increased awareness for all.
Defence Day: Defence Day led to an extensive discussion on
how technology is shaping the wars that are being fought,
how borders are protected and how technology can
further assist in the defence of the country.

Various technical events held all over the two day technical Expo. The events take place all over
the University campus and attend by participants from various locations, students of different
schools and faculty of various colleges and Universities attended
Project Expo : The aim of the Project Expo is to showcase the research and innovations of the
participants. Over 1000 people came to the Project Expo as participants. Students from various
Schools, colleges and Universities participate in this events.
Robotics : Robotics events such as Robo War, Robo Race, Robo Soccer and
Line Follower encourage the students to develop robots that makes able to
fight a competitor robot or follow a predefined path in the quickest
time. The participants bring their designed and built robots that
showcase their hard work and innovative skills in their
implementation of the robot to achieve the goal.
Dvlup: These events focussed on Computer Science and
included several popular competitions such as Web
Designer, Software Debugging, LAN Gaming and
Technical Quiz.

Bridz-o-mania:
This event is a Civil Engineering Event where
the participants have to design and build a
bridge that will hold weight. The bridge with
the highest strength wins the competition.

Survey Hunt:
Another major event in Civil Engineering where
the participants showcase their excellent
survey skills. This allows them to practice what
they have learnt in their lab.

On-spot Events:
A variety of On-spot events also held which
includes Treasure Hunt, Gully Cricket, Technical
Mehndi and Rangoli Competitions.
ELEKTRA:
A two day Cultural Evening ELEKTRA organizes
where groups and students participate in solo
singing, solo dancing, group dancing, duet
dancing and fashion shows. ELEKTRA is an
exciting way for the participants to be able to
relax after the technical events of the day.

Hostel Accommodation
SGVU'S residential accommodation in the form of hostels is among the best and
most modern in its category. At SGVU you can choose to live in room
accommodation. In this integrated environment, you will quickly become part of a
vibrant and stimulating student community that lives and learns together.

Hostel Ambience
Gyan Vihar has six massive and beautifully designed buildings which serve the
purpose of hostels. All buildings are well equipped with modern facilities. Out of six 2
hostels are meant for girls with 350 capacity and 4 for boys having provision of 650
students. All together more than 1000 students live on-campus. Hostels are
facilitated with planned rooms, broad wings and huge dining hall where students of
various streams sit together and enjoy delicious meals at morning, noon and night.
Each hostel has a separate recreation hall with entertainment facilities like music
system, television etc. where they can spend their leisure time. Students can opt for
single seated, double seated & triple seated room. All rooms are attached with wash
rooms. Hostels are richly endowed with the provision of Wi-Fi System, Indoor and
outdoor games facilities, dedicated power hotlines, free computer lab facility,
Gymnasium facility, 24 hours security, library facilities & Open common space which
is utilized for Yoga classes. Along with this the mess facility is complimentary for all
hostellers.

Student Support
Students are also offered pastoral care and religious observance. The University has
appointed a warden for each hostel who lives there and provides support to the
hostellers. They also help you to settle in quickly and to bring groups of students'
together and social events where you begin to make new friends. They will ensure
that your stay at SGVU is comfortable disciplined and enjoyable.

Meal Plan
Accommodation is complete only when students stay is adjuncted with
proper & nutritious meals. Keeping this in mind all the meals are made
complimentary, as no separate charges are levied for the mess facility
provided to the hostellers. The meals of the day are well planned and
prepared by skilled cooks. Weekends are awaited cause of the special
cuisine ranging from north Indian, south Indian, continental and
traditional regional food. The Kitchens are huge, clean and meant for
hygienic cooking and special features of our hostels are the provision of
purely vegetarian food.

You are suppose to fill Board/University name, Roll Number, Year of
