Editorial

The EMERALD STAR NEWS Inc.

The Wolfes Den

Hello and Good day to you! Over the past few
months I have had the opportunity to meet many of
you who read and Love this Newspaper. I thoroughly
enjoyed sharing stories with you too. To know that
so many folks can remember topics I have discussed is heart warming. We shared quite a
few laughs and also reminisced about the urgent problems going on with our waterways.
I do my Best to provide you all with a good quality service and along with our fine
Advertisers, this has been a great way for folks to post upcoming meetings and events in
our county. I sincerely Thank each one of you for making this an 8 year, strong business.
As you may have noticed, I have a few new columnist who want to help advance this
newspaper into the South Walton area as well. I thought it would be nice to show the folks
on the North side of the bay a few quaint spots to listen to very talented musicians and
enjoy some great food too. Lets enjoy what time we have here together.
Just as Freeport grows, we will make adjustments for our readership to keep up with
what is going on. Not all news is Bad News, we will leave the TV for that garbage.
I do want to address something, someone and those who helped this scum person who
wrote to our Advertisers last week. They sent a letter with a defamation of character and
slanderous comments and stated that with hopes to have our customers and Advertisers, to
no longer support this Newspaper? Really? Get a life, mudbug.
The person was so cowardly, that they did not leave a contact number nor even sign the
letter. Probably because I know who it is and would easily have them prosecuted for
liable, slanderous, untrue statements. We now have PI, lawyers and the Sheriff involved
and they will be caught for attempting such deceitful claims made. Under Florida State
Law it is considered a criminal act to anonymously attack ones self or business. That
is why I sign everything I ever write, for I stand behind what I say or print. Unlike these
cowards. This entire family has now gone too far. From up to and including our Mayor,
we are not impressed with such actions at any level. You will pay the price for such personal attacks, once revealed thru finger prints and hand writing specialist. His name
is Horn. Who else in 15yrs of living here has a problem with me? (The Horn family). Not
1 other person anywhere in this county has ever acted in such manner. There is only one.
Being that an injunction is in effect as we speak. The amount of time wasted in court
rooms and judges chambers, to try and appeal (what many of us know) who these people
are and how they are. Read thru any past editions as I have named the individual head on.
I will not hold back from letting you, our readers and customers know all you need to
know of these low-lifes. They even had his wife and daughters hand write on these
letters. They too are being investigated now. Maybe once they are sentenced in jail for a
period of time, they will learn NOT to mess with anyone in such fashion. It is sad to see
how a classic case of stalking and harassment has gone so far that they now attack what
the county and the entire city of FREEPORT has enjoyed for almost 8 years now.
As you all know and I have wrote about over the past few years, about lots of people
complaining of selfish, trash talking, shitty neighbors who do NOTHING for this area at
all. I too have experienced such a group who once lived near my home. Operating against
codes and ordinances as they play cat and mouse with the Sheriff and other enforcements.
I will say that I appreciate those Advertisers who have been with me throughout the
years. When I addressed this issue to them individually, they all were well aware of my
situation with these people. Consider the source, they replied, as they laughed.
(Your letters have been collected and given to the proper authorities).
I do feel closer with our Advertisers after talking and sharing facts about this situation. I
appreciate that no one is dropping out, nor believing what scum level they have
stooped to. It shows the true character, which even the Judge agreed, is in the wrong.
Dont hide behind your cowardly ways, sign what you write for then it is an opinion.
And you know what they say about opinions? I offer every reader anywhere to feel free to
comment or E-mail us on any topic of concern. This is a perfect example.
Its not that I am doing anything wrong by promoting our area for visitors and residents
alike to know whats going on. The Advertisers make it possible every other week to print
2500 copies and I distribute them all throughout the county.
I will be leaving more newspapers inside the businesses in FREEPORT for there has
been a suspicious amount of empty Racks. After 8yrs? I DO KNOW how many papers
turn, where and such. I have even recruited help watching out, to assure that the people get
what they want and obviously they Love about this newspaper.
Funny, how hard it was the 1st year with breaking in a new idea for this city and you
have dirtbags like this trying to tear down a small citys desire and thankfulness that I
started this endeavor back in 2008. 98% of everyone I spoke to agrees with me.
After all the findings and discoveries we have told you about, this is one that has made
many folks upset in this area. Only that a miserable minded person would dare such acts.
I beg of you all. If or when you see or hear smack talk about myself or this Newspaper to
call me immediately! I have the resources now behind me to go after such garbage. I am
just like you. I want to be happy and proud of where we are. As our city will grow, so will
this newspaper. Crap, like this. Needs to be caught and dealt with. Our circle is very big!

Revolutionary New Product Gives

Hope to Those Suffering From
Chronic Snoring
Ill admit it I (used to)
snore. Badly. Badly
enough that my wife not
only complained, but
was also afraid that I had
Sleep Apnea. And I was afraid too. Afraid that I was
going to have to don the dreaded CPAP mask. Really? A
CPAP? Im only in my 40s. Im not ready for that. But
yea, I snore. Plus, I felt tired all the time.
I denied it for a while, like most men do. Then my wife
pretty much forced me to look into the CPAP breathing
mask to cure my snoring. I hated the thought of it. I
hated the thought of setting it up. The noise. The obvious uncomfortable restriction. And I hated the thought
of travelling with it (taking a CPAP on vacation has to
be a serious buzzkill). But I didnt know of any alternative. Until now.
Truth be told, I can be stubborn. I put off doing anything
about my snoring for years. My wife was unhappy, but
hey, *I* didnt hear myself snore, so I figured it was no
big deal. But the sleep apnea thing woke me up (pardon
the pun). I finally relented, and said Id do some research. And thats when my eyes were opened. I not
only learned a lot about snoring and Obstructed Sleep
Apnea (OSA), I also found a great solution that didnt
require a CPAP.
To start, I learned that snoring is a big problem, and an
indicator of OSA, which leads to all manner of health
problems, like:
Acid reflux Frequent nighttime urination
Memory loss Stroke
Depression Diabetes Heart attack
So I continued to research and found a case study one
that changed everything. It was published by Eastern
Virginia Medical Schools Division of Sleep Medicine
in the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine, and concludes
that wearing a simple chin-strap is not only the simplest
treatment for snoring and OSA, but its also the most
effective.

When It Comes to a Natural Sleep Aid,

Consumers Have Spoken
It started with a question: You Used to Sleep Like a Baby
What Happened?
Well, it seems the makers of Somnapure struck a nerve with sleepdeprived Americans. So much so, that this powerful formula has become
Americas #1 best-selling natural sleep SKU in a matter of six
short months.
According to recently published industry research, Somnapure (30 count)
was the sales leader among non-pharmaceutical sleep aids in all leading
US drug chains for the 13 week period ending in mid-November 2015.
Its rare when a product races straight to the top, says a company
spokesperson, based mostly on word of mouth and media. Our success is
due to how well Somnapure helps you get to sleep quickly, stay asleep,
and wake up alert and clear-headed. When consumers need help, they turn
to Somnapure. The numbers speak for themselves.
No wonder Somnapure has generated an unprecedented level of buzz in
retailers like Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, and GNC.
It comes as no surprise that Somnapure is the brainchild of Harvard and
MIT-trained researchers who have the knowledge and skill to make what
some are calling the ultimate sleep aid.
Quite simply, Somnapure is a better way to fall asleep quickly and stay
asleep with 7 time-tested ingredients that each offer unique benefits,
ranging from improving sleep efficiency to increasing the alpha brain
waves known to promote relaxation. With Somnapure you can drift gently
to sleep, as slumber-disturbing agitation seems to fade. Plus, Somnapure
helps to regulate and enhance your circadian cycle so you stay asleep
longer and spend more time in R.E.M. sleep the kind of sleep scientists
tell us we need allowing you to wake up ready to take on the day.

No one believed Porter

Stansberry eight years
ago.
As head of one of
Americas largest
independent financial
research firms, Mr.
Stansberrys work back
in 2008 led him to a
bold, but worrisome, conclusion:
He predicted that the worlds largest mortgage bankersFannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which at the time
were responsible for nearly 50% of all the mortgages
in Americawould soon go bankrupt. We all know
what happened next.
Both agencies went bustand if not for a bailout from
the Federal Government, both would have declared
bankruptcy. Over the years, Mr. Stansberry has made
a name for himself by accurately predicting the biggest and most important collapses in America. A few
others hes accurately identified well in advance include: General Motors, General Growth Property
(Americas biggest mall owner), D.R. Horton (a
homebuilder), and Gannett newspapers, to name just a
few.
This collapse, says Stansberry, will change everything
about our normal way of life: where you vacation
where you send your kids or grandkids to school
how and where you shop the way you protect your
family and home. I strongly encourage you to check
out Mr. Stansberrys recent write-up on this situation.

Supreme Court asks whether Obama overreached with immigration

program
The Supreme Courts conservatives, led by Chief Justice John Roberts, seemed skeptical Monday of President
Obamas sweeping immigration executive actions that would shield 4.5 million unauthorized immigrants from
deportation and make them eligible for work permits.
Two lower courts ruled that the deferred action programs were unconstitutional, and prevented them from
being implemented pending the Supreme Courts decision. The court, which lost its conservative firebrand
Antonin Scalia in February, has been mostly kind to the presidents legacy but its unclear if his luck will
hold out in his final year in office.
In oral arguments in the case, Roberts asked Solicitor General Donald Verrilli to explain whether he believed
a president could decide not to deport any immigrants at all. Verrilli said immigration law binds the executive
to deport immigrants recently arrived at the border and those who commit crimes, but he stressed that
Obamas program, which is aimed at young unauthorized immigrants and the parents of U.S. citizens, is not
that sweeping. Thats a million miles from where we are now, Verrilli said.
Its 4 million people from where we are now, interrupted Justice Anthony Kennedy, one of the courts conservatives who occasionally sides with the liberals. Kennedy added that he thinks the president is setting policy on his own, ignoring the will of Congress. Thats just upside down, he protested.
Both Roberts and Kennedy sided with the courts liberals in the last major immigration case to reach the Supreme Court, over Arizonas SB 1070 law. They affirmed the executives power to pursue its own immigration policies even when it inconveniences states.
But in Mondays oral argument, both men asked questions that suggested they believe this case is different. If
the court rules against the government, it could put in jeopardy Obamas earlier program that has already protected from deportation 800,000 young unauthorized immigrants who came to the country as children. That
deferred action program is not being challenged, but if the court issues a broad ruling, it may undercut its
status as well.
Its not just the fate of millions of immigrants that hang in the balance. If the court strikes down the presidents immigration actions, it will be a reversal of recent trends. Historically, immigration is an area where
the Supreme Court has given the president a whole lot of deference, said Jeff Rosen, president of the nonprofit National Constitution Center. If the court decides Obama overreached, that will be a really dramatic
holding.

RNC To Propose MASSIVE Rule

Change Trump Fans Are
Cheering HARD
A new rule change proposed for the Republican National
Convention this summer would throw out the established
rules of order and give more power to the delegates, making it more likely that the only two viable candidates for
the nomination would be billionaire businessman Donald
Trump and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.
According to Politico, the new rule would be introduced
by Solomon Yue, a
Republican National Committee member from Oregon. It will top the agenda at this
springs RNC meeting in Hollywood Beach, Florida.
If adopted, the rule would make it significantly harder for
the party establishment to put a so-called white knight
candidate of its choosing in to replace either Trump or
Cruz in the case of a deadlocked convention. The proposal
would replace the current way the convention is run, which
is modeled after the U.S. House of Representatives, with
Roberts Rules of Order, a parliamentary-style structure
used at numerous
hierarchical meetings. Under the
current structure, Yue said, too much power is given to the
presiding officer.
In this case, the presiding officer is expected to be House
Speaker Paul Ryan, leading to further conflicts of interest
when you consider the fact that Ryan is one of the
leading candidates for such a white knight role at a deadlocked convention.
Its been the best news for the Trump campaign in quite a
while. Now its left to see if they can get it implemented. If
they can, the Trump Train is going to keep on rolling on.

Michigan couple faces

jail over lost Dr. Seuss
library book
A judge told a Michigan couple they
could land in jail for up to 93 days
and face a maximum $500 fine for
failing to return a novel and a Dr.
Seuss book borrowed from the local
public library.
Cathy and Melvin Duren of Tecumseh, Michigan, appeared in Lenawee
County court on Thursday to each
face a misdemeanor charge of failure
to return rental property. They owe
about $35 in late fees for "The Rome
Prophecy," borrowed in April 2015.
They lost a Dr. Seuss book their teenage son borrowed for their granddaughter in July 2014.
"I can't image going to jail over it,
but I certainly will fight these charges
because I'm not guilty."
