Purpose of Job
To deliver sustainable profitable growth in the aftermarket from 10 sites across the Greater London
area, ensuring employee and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and produce a budget for each Dealer point and customer operated workshop,
set against the resources available to you, previous performance and potential opportunity
within your territory.

Develop constructive working relationships with customers and achieve high customer
satisfaction.

Ensure that all company policies relating to Health and Safety, Environment and
Quality are implemented and adhered to in the aftermarket.

Monitor and control performance standards set within the budget and take corrective
action as required.

To assess and take action on the Dealer point debtor list in conjunction with the
Business Controller

Develop best practice in the parts and service operations through the Genuine Volvo
Service way of working.

Work closely with the truck sales organisation to develop the customer base through the
CM way of working.

Support business development within each Dealerpoint

Monitor and control contract portfolio performance.

All cash invoices to be produced and payment collected prior to release of the vehicle.

To ensure that all Warranty claims & procedures are adhered to in line with group policy.

Carry out appraisals and performance reviews for all direct reports within each
Dealer location or customer operated workshop, in line with Volvo Group PBP process.
Use the information generated by performance reviews to identify training needs for
each Dealer point

Ensure the premises and facilities are maintained to a standard commensurate with
the VTBL Dealer Operating Standards.

Ensure all Dealer point legal responsibilities are being met.

Ensure a quality control programme is adhered to.

Actively motivate and develop team members to exceed expectation in all


elements of the balanced scorecard.

Manage a Dealer point manpower and succession plan to maximise opportunities for
growth through the team.

Contribute to the regions requirement to manage cost and credit control to maximise the
opportunities to grow profit.

To represent the region and contribute to the Aftermarket Forum Meetings

To be an active supportive member of the regions management team.
