Jalandhar stations of PJPL project.

The concrete mixes should give the designed strength as mentioned in table during
work test in accordance with IS 456 & IS 516.

The representative samples of concrete or other materials to be used in order that

may be tested and the suitability of material established. During the progress of work,
sample of concrete shall be taken as per I.S 456 & I.S. 1199 or as may be necessary
and tested as per IS specifications.
In addition to above tests, a rebound hammer test shall be carried out as per the
procedure prescribed in IS-13311.These test shall be carried at the rate of one test for
every 50 cum of RCC work.

From durability considerations the minimum Cement content to be provided is as

For testing of material l /concrete mix the following test equipment are required which
shall be carried out by an approved outside agency :1.

IS sieves for sieve analysis of aggregates.
Slump cone.
