read the actual standards. The only risk is that large portions of certain the
standards do not (read: never) appear in the actual board exams (i.e. macro
hedging of PAS 39 or discretionary participation features of PFRS 4). So be
sure you know what to filter.

Answered all the problems in his reviewer and it really paid off during the
actual exams.
Dayag. THE BEST. Medyo nakakalunod lang sa dami ng problems, pero tiis-tiis
na lang.

Guerrero (P2 & AdvAcc)

I also bought Guerrero's book, but eventually decided to stick with Dayag
and the CPAR problem sets.
AdvAcc textbook is preferred

IMO, nandito na lahat ng kailangan mo. Again, concepts muna yung aralin.
Tapusin 'to and make sure na maiintindihan and mariretain. Kung kaya pa,
iround 2 or 3 para mareview. Helpful din yung reviewer ni Roque if you want
to practice answering multiple choice questions.
Very good resource for fundamental concepts.

my main textbook was the PSA compilation and supplemented by Salosagcol
on topics such as CIS/sampling. I also read the Accounting Information
Systems book of James Hall for the transaction cycles. Roque's reviewer will
suffice.

AUDITING PROBLEMS:
Ocampo

Mas madaming problems sa Roque but some of these problems are

constructed P1 style. Ocampo's problems are slightly more challenging but
they are worth your while. For textbook, still Valix.
Answer it during undergrad. Still a great source of practice material.

Mas basic ang mga problems kay Roque and mas mahirap naman yung kay
Ocampo. Para maaral yung Aud Prob, aralin ang ToA & P1, tapos, practice.

MANAGEMENT SERVICES: (Cost Accounting, Finance, Economics)

Roque

I finished Roque's and Agamata's reviewers, and also answered Bobadilla for
certain topics. For textbook, I used William Carter for Cost Accounting and
Gitman for Finance.
Very good concept study/review for those forgotten topics.
