We have so far done a good job in the daily military activities
we have undertaken inside and outside Djibouti and
accomplished the tasks with devotion. In peacekeeping,
regional and international security category, Djiboutian
soldiers deployed under the AMISOM banner for the past four
years and have carried out their duties diligently. Since
deployment in sector four, Hiiraan, our forces have made
remarkable achievements in the fight against Al Shabaab
terrorists, in programmes that have benefited both the local
population and the Somali National Army, we have also helped
secure Beletweyne, Bula Burde, Jalalaqsi and the neighbouring
areas effectively.
