O Instituto Ao Brasil tem a satisfao de colocar disposio dos interessados
mais uma edio do Anurio Estatstico da Siderurgia Brasileira.
As diretrizes so as mesmas da edio anterior compreendendo uma srie
histrica dos seis ltimos anos dos nmeros de produo, vendas internas,
exportaes, importaes, consumo aparente, matrias-primas, investimentos e
dados gerais das empresas siderrgicas brasileiras.
Agradecemos a valiosa colaborao das empresas associadas e dos rgos oficiais,
sem a qual no teria sido possvel a realizao deste trabalho.

INTRODUCTION
Brazil Steel Institute is pleased to publish one more issue of the Brazilian
Steel Industry Statistic Yearbook.
We followed the same guidelines for this issue as in the previous ones. We
present a historical series of the figures regarding production, domestic
sales, exports, imports, apparent consumption, raw materials,
investments and general data about the Brazilian Steel companies
comprising the last six years.
We thank the priceless help from our associated companies and official
organs, whithout which this work would not have been possible.
