7:00 PM in the parish office building. This class is

A Farewell Letter From Our Pastor - Fr. Michael L. Zoufal

Dear parishioners,
I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the kindness you have shown me
during my 5 years at St. Albert the Great. It has been a time of personal challenge and growth
for me. I have learned much and I have seen our parish grow in many ways.
I have seen our parish go from vandalism, flooding and destruction, to growth, prosperity
and vitality. Your generosity and spirit of commitment to the parish moved the parish from
difficult moments to times of great blessings. It was demonstrated by the improvements to
parish facilities we were able to make over the years. Our parish grounds are beautiful.
We have an administration building and adoration chapel, a new sound system in the
church, a new roof on the convent, new windows IN the convent and administration building,
and a new roof ( the money is in the bank) to be installed on the church by the end of July.
These are just a few of the many improvements.
All of these improvements have been paid for and we owe nothing. There is no parish
debt. This is truly a credit to you and your love of God and St. Albert the Great. This love has
been an inspiration to many. Over the past 5 years we have seen our parish Sunday attendance
increase by 1,300 people. Last October, the average Sunday church attendance count was
4,650 people. We are one of the largest parishes in the Archdiocese.
Thank you. Thank You. Thank you.
May Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Holy Mother watch over you always and strengthen your
bonds of fraternity and peace. I pray that this parish continues to flourish and grow for many,
many more years to come.

Chc skorzysta z tej okazji, aby podzikowa wam wszystkim za yczliwo, jak
okazalicie mi podczas moich 5-ciu lat w parafii w. Alberta Wielkiego. By to okres wielu
osobistych wyzwa i rozwoju. Nauczyem si duo i miaem okazj by wiadkiem
wszechstronnego rozwoju naszej parafii.
Widziaem j podczas okresu gdy si borykaa z wandalizmem, powodziami i
zniszczeniami, a do powrotu do witalnoci i obecnego dobrobytu. Wasza hojno oraz
powicenie pomogy parafii przej przez trudny okres do dzisiejszego stanu wielkiego
bogosawiestwa. Dowodem tego s wszelkie remonty obiektw parafialnych, ktre zostay
przeprowadzone w cigu ostatnich lat.
Teren parafii jest pikny. Mamy budynek administracyjny i kaplic adoracji, nowy system
dwikowy w kociele, nowy dach i okna w domu sistr zakonnych i budynku
administracyjnym. Nowy dach na kociele (pienidze s w banku) bdzie pooony kocem
lipca. Wymieniem tylko kilka z wielu ukoczonych projektw. Wszystkie remonty zostay
spacone i parafia nie ma dugu. Jest to moliwe dziki wam i waszej mioci do Boga i parafii
w. Alberta. Ta mio jest inspiracj dla wielu.
W cigu ostatnich 5-ciu lat liczba wiernych na mszach witych w niedziel wzrosa o
1,300 osb. W padzierniku ubiegego roku, rednia liczba wiernych uczszczajcych na msze
wite w niedziel wynosia 4,650 osb. Jestemy jedn z najwikszych parafii w archidiecezji
Chicago.
Bardzo, bardzo dzikuj wam. Dzikuj za wszystko.
Niech Nasz Pan Jezus Chrystus i Jego Matka Maryja czuwaj nad wami i wzmacniaj wasze
wizy braterstwa i pokoju.
Modl si, aby ta parafia rozwijaa si przez wiele, wiele nadchodzcych lat.
Niech Bg was wszystkich bogosawi.

parafii w. Alberta Wielkiego. Serdecznie
