(b) A1 phase motor connected to 240V, 50HZ supply draws 20Amps at a p.f of 0.75
lagging. A capacitance is shunted across the motor terminals improve the p.f. to 0.9
lagging. Determine the capacitance of the capacitor to be used.

the condenser bank?
