next 5 or 10 years from

2016, theres a possibility that you will die or theres a possibility that you will have your own family you
just cant tell.
I always wanted to see what will be my life in the future, what will be my career and what will I become?
As I reflected my childhood I have many dreams and aspirations that I would like to accomplish within
next five or ten years to come. In five or ten years I can see myself having many of my goal
accomplished, if not accomplished, I will be working on accomplishing those goals to fulfill my life. I know
its not easy to know your life next five or ten years but I just cant stop thinking about it whenever I think
about it I always smile seeing the sky above showing that I achieve my goals and see my family proud of
me.
My primary goal over the next ten years is to graduate from the University of Florida. I will major in advertising and
possibly minor in business administration. I will graduate with a Masters of Advertising (M.Adv.). In order to get
this degree, I have to complete at least one hundred and twenty-four hours of credits. Some of the classes I will need
to take for my major are Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Advertising, Advertising campaigns, and
Media Planning. To earn a Masters of Advertising, at least thirty-three credits are required excluding undergraduate
courses throughout the university. There are eighteen core credits out of the thirty-three. Some Classes unique to my
degree are Advertising Planning, Advertising Theory, and Creative Advertising Strategies. Electives such as
International communication and Advanced Media Planning are also required. A Business Administration minor at
the University of Florida provides an overview of the major practical elements of business for non-business UF
undergraduates. This minor can be completed on line, at UF or through a study abroad program. To earn a Business
Administration minor, twenty four credits must be completed while maintaining a 2.0 or higher GPA in the minor.
Obtaining a masters degree would be beneficial in that a higher pay is earned and greater expertise in that subject is
attained. The average tuition cost for undergraduates living either on or off campus at the University of Florida is
$20,220. My schooling will be paid for by family savings and a Bright Futures scholarship. During my time at the
University of Florida I would like to study abroad. My top locations are Madrid, London or Rome. Studying abroad
would be a great experience. Through this program I could improve and increase my language skills, gain different
perspectives on vital global issues, encounter new things and meet new people

Where I will be in 10 Years
Ten years from now, I see myself settled down in my career, married to the man of my dreams, and having four
kids..NOT! These are things an average girl might say. As you get to know me, you will see that I am far from
average. My name is Amyaa Brown, I am 24 years old. I am a full time mom, full time student, and I work part time.
I currently attend Texas Southern University majoring in Aviation Science Management. I have set many goals for
myself and plan to achieve them one by one. My goals dont stop at becoming an aviator. In addition to flying B-2s
for the Air National Guard, I also want to fly for the airlines, own an airline, start my own business building aircraft
for the military, and most importantly be the best single parent mother I can be.
When I think about ten years from now, I look back ten years ago. I have grown so much, learned even more, and
accomplished many things. It is only logical that I will continue to grow, learn, and accomplish more things in the
next ten years. My first big step is completing school as well as finishing my private pilot license, instrument
license, and multi-engine license. Everyone wants to be an aviator but not everyone achieves that goal. The
competition is tough and because I am a double minority, i.e. African American female, I am forced to work harder
than the average person.
Currently I am a member of the Civil Air Patrol, Bronze Eagle Flying club, and Women in Aviation. Each
membership provides me with numerous opportunities to network and get myself known. The aviation industry is
more about who you know rather than what you know. I am also working on my private pilot licenses; this will set
me apart from most people pursuing a military career in aviation. My next step is graduating with a degree in

Ten years from now

When you say ten years from now, theres a few things that come to mind. My plans and goals in life are very basic.
We all know when growing up that we all wanted that fairy tale ending with the house, car, kids, and the dog. Ten
years from now I plan to be raising my children, coming out of college with several degrees, and being happy.
Having a large family was something I always wanted. Now, I only have one child and she means the everything to
me. Therefore, the next ten years we have a lot of growing to do. I am obligated to her education, making sure that
she gets it to the best of her ability. I plan to have more children on day soon; I do not know when or with whom.
My kids will always know, regardless of anything else, that mother was serious about their education. Raising kids
takes more than ten years, but that has always been one of my dreams. I will do everything in my power to make
sure that she gets the stability, security, and education needed.
School has always been an important goal in my life. Growing up I always wanted to attend college for at least 10
years to receive a law degree. Now that Im older I realized that law is not what I want. I am interested in a B.S. and
then an M.S. in Sociology, receiving a welding certificate, plus my C.D.L. license. I plan to work hard and finish
college with at least my b/s in Sociology. I am a good listener. I like to understand peoples feelings, how they come

Where do I see myself in ten years? Thinking about this question gave me a chance to analyze my goals, wishes, and
ambitions. In ten years I know I want the basic things of life, love, family, and happiness and the opportunity to
pursue my dreams. I will have been blessed with having children with my sweetheart of fifteen years. I will be
employed by a top tier company. I will own my own business, reside in another state and own property all over the
country.
Children have always been important to me. Since I can remember I have always wanted to be a mother. I decided to
wait until marriage to start a family, but once married we focused on building a secure future together. I believe I
will be an excellent mother, giving my children all the love and affection I can give. I will enjoy being a soccer
mom, taking the kids to all of their extracurricular activities. I am going to be the best mother, being supportive and

Although children are important to me, I do not intend to be a stay at home mother. I have always known I would be
employed in an office environment, and have always been fascinated by computer software. Having earned my
degree in software engineering several years prior from the University of Michigan, I will work at a Fortune 500
company. My office will be on the top floor with valet parking, a corporate spending account and freedom to work
from home if I choose. While working for this Fortune 500 Company, I will continue my education, earning my

My Next Ten Years
There are many things that I would like to be doing in the next ten years of my life. I would love to be working my
dream job as an Oklahoma City police officer, Have my own house in my hometown, and start a family. These
ambitions I have for my future are very strong, and I will have to work hard to achieve all of my life goals.
My dream job is to be an Oklahoma City police officer. Thats what my great grandfather, grandfather, and father
did. The job of being a police officer has always been in my blood since I was little. I use to go to work with my
father all the time in high school, and thats when I new that I would peruse that career. I have a passion for helping
people and I know that I can do that every day that I go to work as a police officer. It would be such a great feeling

Where Do I see myself in Five to Ten Years?
This question I struggle with, thinking of the future and where I see myself is hard. Five years can easily go by fast,
but on paper it was a challenge. Talking about the present is much easier to elaborate. You never really know the
outcome. Setting new goals in place to become more successful. Where I see myself in five to ten years I dont
really know. I can honestly say if I was asked this question during an interview I would fail. I havent really gave it
much thought. Now imagining five to ten years from now I have passed all my classes and graduated from Heald
College. Perfected a good enough resume to land a job as a Medical Office Administration. Now a career at a well
know Hospital. Working hard to keep my job and work further to achieve client relations and a raise. Year two got
the raise, and made strong client and social relationships. Continue to strive to do my best. Spend more one on one
time with my kids. Shaping them to grow into decent human beings Third year have some sort of financial stability
to save up money to one day own a home. Mastered on how to make an egg omelet, yes cooking is not my strong
suit but I try. Follow through on things, less broken promises. In the fourth year revisit my goals, make new ones.
Less TV more outdoor activities etc. Yeah year five life is looking pretty good. I have come so far in my life. I have
a great job, money is good the kids are growing up so fast I cant believe how time flies. Now where I see myself in
