Huqqa

Huqqa

While Huqqa (Hookah) was not traditionally

smoked in England, Europe, or the American
colonies during the 17th and 18th Centuries, it
was commonly available in India at the time.
Period references reveal that it was enjoyed by
members of Englands East India Company
while stationed in India and is therefore
included within this selection of slideshows.
