The partnership with Matua gives us the opportunity to showcase a dynamic wine brand
which, in association with our bespoke venue, generates a fresh and modern approach to beach

The dynamic branding is helping us to activate the venue, through our most important asset:

PANDORA unveils
summer collection
The PANDORA summer collection which features two main
themes: Oriental Bloom and Holiday Fun has been well received
by customers in Fiji.
Distributed exclusively by
Prouds the new collection from
PANDORA was released early
last month at all Prouds retail and
resort outlets in the country.
A tale of oriental opulence
and exotic ocean worlds is
brought to life in PANDORAs
latest collection, with jewellery
that captures the elegance and
excitement of this faraway splendour, Prouds retail manageress
Reshmi Singh explains.
She says the traditional oriental patterns and floral prints are
reinterpreted in fresh new ways
and fan-inspired details celebrate
the ancient art of origami.
Crimson red and pink tones,
illuminated with glossy enamel,
glittering stones and sleek sterling
silver, set the mood for a stunning
season while the wonders of the
sea is beautifully referenced, Ms
Singh adds.
While the oriental patterns
and exotic blooms bring sense of
far eastern opulence in the Orien-

tal Bloom collection, PANDORA

pays tribute to the underwater
world with a collection of jewellery inspired by the beauty of the
ocean in the Holiday Fun collection.
We invite all our PANDORA

Staff get wine knowledge through Dog Point

Vineyards

WINES from New Zealand

are doing exceptionally well in
the international market says Ivan
Sutherland of Dog Point Vineyards.
Mr Sutehrland who was recently in the country with his
wife Margaret made the comments while conducting a training
and brand awareness session with
a group of Prouds and Motibhai
Group sales staff.
He said what sets Dog Point
wines apart from others is the organic and holistic nature in which
the wines from their vineyards
are produced.
While addressing the sales
staff,
Margaret
Sutherland
thanked the team for the great
marketing efforts in promoting
their boutique wine brand in the
country.
You can produce the best
wine in the world, but if there
arent good people like you to
sell, its of no use, Ms Sutherland said.
Motibhai Group executive director Bhupendra Patel said the
company is honoured to have an
iconic brand such as Dog Point
in its list of world renowned wine
brands.
Group sales manager west
Manwal Kumar said there has

sales at our supermarket outlets,

Mr Kumar said.
Meanwhile, Dog Point Vineyards are specialist wine producers since 2002.
Dog Point insists on low
cropped vines and hand-picked

fruit whilst adhering to an organic

regime.
Our philosophy is to produce regionally distinctive wines
that will drink well now and age
gracefully for many years, Ivan
highlighted.

A tribute to Muhammad Ali,

the greatest of all time
Angela Clarke of UK shares her happy childhood memories of Ali
LEFT: Angela's signed

RIGHT: Many of you may

not be aware, Muhammad Ali grew up drinking
Ovaltine. Seen in the
picture is Ali posing for a
promotion during his UK
tour in the seventies.

THE recent death of Muhammad Ali brought back great childhood

memories of watching boxing matches with my Dad, Councillor Whit
Stennett for the Clifford Ward.
Our family were massive fans of Ali and it was always a family
tradition to gather around the television to watch his pre-match banter
and cheer him on as he knocked out his opponents.
We also enjoyed watching him when he appeared on the Michael
Parkinson show.
In October 1971, when we heard that Ali was due to visit Stretford
Arndale to promote the Ovaltine drink, I cried and pleaded with my
dad to take me along.
I was only four-years-old but I was desperate to meet my hero and
role model. I can honestly say that it was one of the best days of my
life.
There were hundreds of people but I had a great view of 'the Greatest' as I sat on my dad's shoulders.
There was a huge amount of pushing and shoving on the day but Ali

took hold of my hand.

Despite the crowds we managed to purchase a signed tin of Ovaltine which we still have to this day!
