When I was in elementary, we were sectioned heterogeneously because I studied

in a private school. This means that half of the class performs well, while the
other half are deficient. As what I can remember, some of our teachers let us
perform tasks in groups. The teacher will group us heterogeneously to perform a
certain activity. This helped the low performers to do great because they were
grouped to well performers. This type of strategy helped the low performers to
adopt the sense of responsibility and other skills of the well-performers.
Moreover, some of our teachers also let us work on different tasks individually.
This helped each of us. We all know that each student is diverse. He/she may not
perform well in class, but he/she possesses skills that are better than that of
others. Our teacher let us draw, perform speeches, write, etc. This helped the
low performers to somehow perform better because some of the activities given
by the teacher are their forte.
When I was in high school, we were sectioned according homogenously. I belong
in the first section that is why all the students perform well. Our teachers would
always give us individual tasks to accomplish, and some of the tasks are a bit
complicated.
Yes, the teachers were effective in facilitating the teaching-learning process of
learners with different abilities. Why? It is because the teacher devised certain
activities to motivate both the high and low performers to do well inside the
classroom
2. First, I will employ motivational activities that could really hook not just the well
performers but also the low ones. I believe that motivation is one of the keys for
the students to perform better during class discussions. Second, I will reinforce
them by giving verbal praises and material incentives (prizes), because I believe
that if the students are reinforced, they will strive more to become excellent and
to develop. Next, I will use group activities that will cater both well performers
and low performers. This is a way of helping the low performers interact with
high performers. This could make the students realize that if others can do well,
they can also perform in class well, thus, this could lead to the betterment of low
performers. Lastly, I will devise individual activities that are not limited to a
single skill alone. I know that students are diverse, that is why I will make certain
activities that could embrace the diverse skills of students.

1. I was brought up by my parents with tender love and care. However, if I did
something wrong, they carry out certain punishment that would help me realize
that the thing I did is wrong. I was also raised religiously. When I was a kid and
until now, it is always a must in our family to pray the Holy Rosary and to attend
mass regularly. More so, our parents also ask about our experiences outside the
house. This helped us be open with one another. The way my parents raised me
really affected me. First, I was able to develop nice attitudes that helped me
interact and understand others. Then, I always strive hard to do what is right.
Although sometimes I do something wrong, but at the end of the day, I will
always repent and ask forgiveness. Further, my faith also brought me to where I
am today. Sometimes I am confined to self doubts, problems, trials and
stressors, but because my parents raised me to be religious, I always pray
whenever I have problems. My faith helps me to be strong to face the challenges
that I face. And I firmly believe that the way my parents raised me will be very
beneficial to me as a future teacher. I will offer tender love and care to my
students, just like what my parents did to me, because I always believe in the

principle that teachers are students second parents in school. Lastly, I know that
I will be able to affect the lives of my students because my parents, along with
my mentors and teachers, will be my inspiration in molding my future students.
