BACKGROUND/SITUATION ANALYSIS
Tuberculosis remains to be one of the top 10 leading causes of death in the
Philippines. Yearly, millions of Filipinos die because of this culprit. DOH is
aggressively working towards the total eradication of the said disease. World
Tuberculosis Day will be on March 24, 2016, a worldwide event that is promoted
by the World Health Organization to increase the awareness of the people on the
risks, preventions, and managements of TB. Thus, as a part of the Department of
Health, we aim to participate to this event by organizing activities that will
increase the awareness of the people towards the disease.

Bugueyanos are not used to participate with such activities since activities like
this are bizarre however team effort shall be enforced to encouraged community
people to participate through massive yet cost effective advertisements and
promotions.
