A. PREPARATION
1. Information receipt of incoming material from warehouse that related with material
storage
2. Related warehouse section put the incoming material into each area
3. Prepare measuring tool such a micrometer, tensile test, hardness test and spektrometer
4. Prepare Incoming Inspection Report form (FR-QC-0101)
B. IMPLEMENTATION
1. Put the certificate of Wire Rods and As Bar (if available)
2. Put the sample of Wire Rods and As bar that refer to Pickup Parameter of Incoming
Sample QC Standart (SP-QC-0101)
3. Inspection of Wire rods and As bar by visual with quality standar can do based on table
4. Measure the diameter of Wire rods and As bar based on table of tolerance standart:

1. Make sure about that form is filled completely and save as file

2. Clean the measuring tool and save it carefully

A. PREPARATION
1. Prepare spectrometer test tools
2. Prepare FR-QC-0160 form (Spectrometer Test Report)
B. IMPLEMENTATION
1. Put the sample of material which will be tested with minimal diameter is 12 mm and
maximal weight is 10 kg
2. If sample smaller than 12 mm, reshape until it have minimal wide is 12x12 mm
3. Smooth up the surface sample using grinder paper with minimal rudeness is 60 grain/in
4. Dont touch the side of surface sample which smoothed up and ready to be tested
5. Clean up the place for sample (Spark Stand) in order sample doesnt contamined
6. Make sure the electrode tip which will be used was cleaned up and checked the
sharpness
a. When it is blunt, the electrode must be changed (there are 2 sides to use) or resharp
again
b. Always cleaned up the electrode tip before testing
7. Make sure the Argon gas (with minimal purity is 99,999%) is turned on and ready to use
a. If it is not avalaible, it must using purifier Argon
8. Make sure the spectrometer optic in a vacuum mode
a. If the machine is firstly to use after it was turned off, turn on the vacuum pump and
wait for 30 minutes in order spectrometer optic to be vacuumed
9. Turned on the computer and open up WASLAB application
10. Spectrometer test can to do by this steps:
a. Take it in the shoot point position is from material radius
b. Shoot up to the 1 point 4 times and maksimal 7 times
c. Delete the first shoot result
d. If RSD (Relative Standart Deviation) 10, retest to another point
e. Save the result test into the file
11. Input the reult test into Spectrometer Test Report form (FR.QC.160)
C. FINISHED
1. Make sure about that form is filled completely and save as file

2. Clean up the Spectrometer testing machine

CONTAMINANT CLEARANCE AT HEAT TREATMENT MACHINE

A. PREPARATION
1. Prepare the personal protection equipment for health and safety work according by rules
2. Prepare the tools such a filter, dust cloth, small basin/bucket, barrel for dust cloth former
B. IMPLEMENTATION
1. Contaminant clearance in the washer area
a. Ensure of material which will be get into the heat treatment machine is clean.
b. Ensure of water which will be used is according to the standard.
c. If it found the contaminant (brown foam/foreign object), clean up using filter
immediately.
d. Put off that contaminant into small basin and put it off to the disposal waste area.
e. Ensure water in the washer always clean and contaminat free.
2. Contaminant clearance in the coating oil area/oil barrel
a. Ensure oil barrel which will be used is cleaned (contaminant free)
b. Ensure conveyor at in and out position also cleaned (contaminant free)
c. Checking the coating oil basin in once an hour to ensure availability of contaminant
d. If it found the contaminant (brown foam/foreign object) in the coating oil basin,
clean up immediately with following this step:
Clean up the contaminant in the coating oil basin using filter/screen and then
pour it to the small bucket which is prepared
Clean up the contaminant in the conveyor using dust cloth and then pour it to
the small bucket which is prepared
e. If the small bucket is full, then pour the contaminant in the small bucket to the
disposal waste barrel
f. Ensure the conyeror and oil bucket is contaminant free
C. FINISHED
1. Clean up the machine continuously
2. Put off the dust cloth former into the dust cloth former barrel
3. Put off the contaminant waste into disposal waste area.
