ABSTRACT

Marcet boiler is an instrument that allow us to see the change of Temperature,T within certain
Pressure,P.It allow us to check the increase or decrease of the T in unit Celcius at the P in unit
bars. The unit consists of a stainless steel pressure vessel fitted with a high pressure immersion
electrical heater.The unit also comes with a safety valve, glass thermometer and Bourdon type
pressure gauge. Water inlet valve and discharge valve are also installed.The unit comes with
transducers for temperature and pressure so that students will be able to read the respective
values on a digital indicator. Students will be able to control and monitor the heater power supply
via a control panel.

ABSTRACT
The heater is protected from burn-out by setting the maximum operating temperature on the
temperature controller. In theory, the state of equilibrium would take forever to be reached but
such equilibrium can be practically achieved within a closed system where the liquid and vapour
are allowed to stand in contact with each other long enough with literally no interference or only
slight interference from the exteriors. In multicomponent mixtures, the compositions of each
component are compared in both the liquid and vapour phases where the compositions are
expressed in mole fractions. A mole fraction is the number of moles of a certain component
divided by the total number of moles of all components in the mixture in either the liquid or
vapour phase. VLE data are often produced and shown in two component systems (binary) and
three component systems (ternary). However, VLE data can exist in higher order of components
but would be complex and difficult to illustrate graphically.
