Corrosion Allowance (Internal / External) has been specified as

1.5 mm/1.5 mm. Please clarify about the different parts where
this has to be applied.

DRAWING NO. PJ-ENGG-02,

Anexure-3

In the GAD (schematic) we find corrosion allowance for wetted

floating roof has been specified as 5 mm which we feel may be a
typographical error. As such please clarify the same.

DRAWING NO. PJ-ENGG-02,

Anexure-3

In the GAD (schematic) against the layout of shell girth we find

there are 6 shell girths @ 2500 mm which makes a height of 15
m for the tank. However the tank height has been stated as 13.6
m(upto top of shell plate). Please clarify regarding the height of
the tank.

Liquid level

DRAWING NO. PJ-ENGG-02,

Anexure-3
& Equipment
Data Sheet (Mechanical),
Anexure-2 For Crude Storage
Tanks 201-Tk-012/013/014
& Crude Storage Tanks 201Tk-015/016/017/108

In the GAD (schematic) design liquid height has been specified as

12.75 m whereas the test pressure has been specified as full of
water + ATM. Moreover as per Equipment Data Sheet
(Mechanical) note no. 5.13 the maximum operating liquid level
has been stated as 13.5/14 m while the HLL is mentioned as 12
m in the GAD. For all the 7 tanks against note no. 5.11 it is
specified hydro test condition= Full of water + ATM pressure.
Please note that as this is a floating roof tank of height of 13.61
m, the above stated maximum operating liquid level of 13.5/14 m
is not possible.
So, there is confusion and contradiction in the above
data. As such please clarify regarding the followings:
i)

Maximum design liquid level.

ii)

Maximum hydro static liquid level during hydro test as

well as design
Maximum operating liquid level.

iii)
