1) I am only adding a 5% waste factor to non-structural metal studs and gypsum

board due to the fact that I did not back out doors and windows and therefore
there is already some waste built into my quantity take-off.
2) At the gable end walls on my project the top of the gable to ground measures
roughly 18 and the truss bearing elevation is 10 therefore I used 14 height
to calculate studs and gyp board for those quantities.
3) Assume 4 Metal Studs @ Canopy are 16 O.C.
4) Assume Hat Channel @ Columns @ Soffit is 7/8
5) No framing detail for Gypsum Board Ceiling except at NIPR and SIPR rooms.
6) Assume 7/8 Hat Channel for all gypsum board ceiling. See Note #5.
7) Assume 5/8 Gypsum Board @ Ceilings is all Moisture Resistant Gypsum
Board.
8) Assume Waste for Painting is built in due to the fact that I am using the
Gypsum Board SQFT Number and some of the Gypsum Board extends over
the ceiling and we are only painting to the ceiling.
9) Assume all doors come factory primed and painted.
10)
Assume all door frames besides storefront frame needs to be painted.
11)
Assume Security Mesh @ SIPR Room.
12)
Assume Caged Areas are 1.5/10 Gauge Wire Mesh Partitions. Ceiling
is Wire Mesh as well.
13)
Assume Mirror are framed 24x36 mirror.
14)
Assume a 36 and 48 grab bar in each ADA Bathroom
15)
Assume solid surface window sills at all windows.
16)
Assume Base and Wall Cabinets in the Kitchenette.
17)
Assume that toilet accessories need 2 foot of wood blocking.
18)
Assume that markerboards need 8 foot of wood blocking.
19)
Assume the base and wall cabinets need 50 foot of wood blocking.
20)
Assume Weep Holes are Extruded Aluminum 4 deep 2 3/8 x 8 1/8.
21)
Deflection Track @ Top of walls is included in waste of the metal studs.
22)
Foam Fill Insulation has waste included due to the fact that I am not
subtracting the grouted CMU blocks.
23)
Face Brick has waste included due to the fact that I did not back out
windows or the soldier course and material price incl. 3%.
24)
Assume Concrete Cap @ Top of Gable walls is 4000 PSI concrete.
25)
Assume (2) #4 Rebar @ Concrete Cap
26)
Assume 10% to rebar price to include chairs and accessories.
27)
Assume 8 CMU Block @ Trash Enclosure Wall and assume the wall is
10 Tall
28)
Assume 2 x 1 Cont. Footer @ Dumpster Pad CMU Wall and (3) #4 bars
L.W. and #4 Bars @ 16 O.C. Short way and concrete is 4000 PSI.
29)
Assume Excavation for Concrete paving and sidewalks are in the
earthwork package.
30)
Assume Concrete Stormdrain pipe is used for material.
31)
Assume bedding at stormdrain is 4 wide and this will include the
waste.
32)
24 W Vehicle Gate Means only has price for 20 so I divided material
cost by 20 and got a per foot number and then multiplied it by 24 and used it.
605/20 = 30.25*24=726. Same install rate and production.
33)
Assume 3000 PSI concrete @ drying rack footers.

34)
Assume Masons own their own scaffolding and therefore price just
reflects erection.
35)
Assume roof trusses are $500 a piece with the same erection as the
40 Span. 153-13.60-1280
36)
Assume 4 x 4 Metal Grating has cross bars @ 2 O.C. x 1/8
37)
I am assuming the price for Canopies because means does not have a
number for them. I have googled and pick two that are similar to what we are
providing.
38)
Assume plywood @ SIPR , NIPR walls is .
39)
Note about Fire Rated Doors Addition: 3070 WD Oak is 211 EA and fire
rated is 460 EA therefore subtract 460-211 = 249 and that is what I adding
for fire rated doors.
40)
Assume Porcelain Floor Tile is 12 x 12.
41)
Assume Porcelain Wall Tile is 4 x 4 .
42)
The waste on Acoustical Ceiling Tile includes attic stock.
43)
Assume chair rail is x 2 .
44)
Assume white reflectors @ fire lane cost 10 EA. Looked on google. Price
to install is reasonable.
45)
Assume Knox Box cost 100 EA. Looked on google. Price to install is
reasonable.
46)
Assume Communications and ESS System are priced at half the square
foot price of electrical.
