Music is an art that uses some objects as a medium so it can create a sound with

various patterns. We call these patterns as melody and harmony. The word music
comes from mousik; it is an ancient greek word to recognize a melody. Since ancient
times, the word mousike has been used to define any of the arts or sciences governed
by the Muses. We can find music in every culture - past and present - even in the most
isolated tribal group. It means we can find music anywhere. I dont think music becomes
popular because of its bad influence, I think it is because we need music even more,
and because it gives us the power through our mind and spirit without we ever noticed.
The popularity of music is always in topnotch condition even nowadays. Music always
gets the attention of every group of people from all over the world. With its abilities to
adapt, music changes its genre from time to time so the world will never get bored with
it. It has the ability to bear the world`s request. Music has the power to change the
world. I personally believe that there are three reasons why music can change the world
we live in.
First, music can change the world because of its ability to positively influence our
way of thinking and behaving. With music, we can make our day more cheerful because
it has the ability to affect our feelings. Its melody contains a strong power of hope and
its lyrics contain an intense will that can change our day to become brighter. Cheerful
melody and lyrics are the key to gain more confidence so we can face our day with a lot
of smiles. With smiles on our face, we can settle all of our problems. And not only that,
music is one of our weapons to fight sadness. With cheerful lyrics we can cure our
sadness so we can get a moveon.
Second, music can change the world because music can effectively unite people.
It is not an easy task to unite people. That`s because everyone has different

backgrounds, different languages and different ways of thinking, and with music we can
just put them aside. Its because there is no difference in the eyes of music. There is no
kid, teen or adult in music. They are blending with the song and forget all of the
problems they had. And not only that, music has the ability to convey positive messages
to a large number of people. With the lyric, music can inject positive messages to all of
its listeners.
Third, music can change the world because it can inspire people to be better. A
music idol is one of the examples of inspiration because an idol has the power to
influence people. With that power, he can change his fans` behaviour. So, with his
popularity in music he can change his fans into whatever act he shows. The more
popular he is, the more people he can change and when he can change a lot of people
to be better people, he can change the world.
In brief, music is important for our life. It can change our life and thus, it can
change the world we live in. Music has the ability to influence us positively, it can
effectively unite people, and it can inspire people to be better. So from now on, choose
your song in your playlist wisely because it is one of the mainpoints whether your day
will become blue or cheerful. Music can really change your `world !
