with a keynote speaker and then the discussion will be led by moderators with reputable
track records. The delegates are expected to obtain a solution regarding the issues of their
chambers that will then be outlined in an action plan.
.

Chamber 1 :
Quality Education
Education is believed to be a foundation of building a better life for the
society. Considering that the majority of ASEAN me mber states are developing
countries, the focus should be in vocational studies or higher educations.
Vocational studies should be focused on and be further reviewed so that
ASEANs human resources will have better competence and higher
competitiveness in life.

Chamber 2 :
Economic Growth and Decent
Supporting a sustainable and inclusive economic growth is a goal in every
region; including ASEAN as a main engine of Asian economic growth. If
ASEANs fast growing economy also pays attention to intensive and
productive employment, it is not impossible for ASEAN to be a home to
decent works for everyone.

Chamber 3 :
Sustainable City and Community
City is the societys center of gravity. Until today, there are still a number
of cities in both developed and developing that have a safe and
comfortable infrastructure issues. Developing sustainable city and
com munity is a much needed action for the survival of modern society.
ASEAN as a region needs youth who wants to actively contributes in
building safe and comfortable city layouts and infrastructures for ASEAN
society.

Chamber 4 :
Reasonable Consumption and Production
Sustainable consumption and production pattern is a fundamental
need for human survival. ASEAN as a region needs to use its resources
in a more efficient way to prevent negative impact that can be
resulted from unreasonable consumption and production. Henceforth,
ASEAN society can use their owned resources in a better way without
harming the environment and utilize them as an opportunity in
realizing innovative ideas especially in entrepreneurship.

Public Conference
An idea without implementation will be just an idea, like a vision without a mission.
Proudly themed From Idea to Action: The Role of ASEAN Youth in Driving
Sustainable Development Goals, AYIC Public Conference will invite all chambers to
actively participating in socializing their action plan to com munity and youth organization,
including general public and invited guests. With this launching of the action plan,
delegates are expected to implement it when they return to their home countries. AYIC
Public Conference also will be inviting public figures to speak about youth roles in the
implementation of Sustainable Development Goals

Closing Ceremony
The series of events will be wrapped up in a closing ceremony themed From ASEAN for the
World. The chosen theme has the aim to remind the delegates that they have the mission to
be the agent of change to their respective countries and eventually to the world.
Social Campaign

#PassItOn
#PassIton is a social movement drives by youth. This movement is going to pass the
enthusiasm, the initiative, the strong desire for an actual action to ASEAN youth through
social media and they are going to #PassItOn and on, and on. Until a big number of
youth get this message and take this initiative to a concrete action.
This hashtag means ASEAN youth should work together; collecting ideas, building wills,
and mapping out what can we do to contribute to the development. Working hand in hand
and then passing the initiative on to other youth so that we will create a chain of good
deeds that will bridge our way to a sustainable future.
