UV-resistance:
250 hours with the UV-machine Uvaspot 1000 (UV-light from 295 nm, power 1000 Watt,
distance 32 cm.
Result: no damage of the coatings, less improvement in contact angle (hydrophobia) and nonstick characteristic.
Abrasion resistance:
Contact angle of VP 12 after 10.000 cycle with rubber lip: 95
Contact angle of VP 16 after 10.000 cycle with rubber lip: 97
Contact angle of VP 16 after 10.000 cycle with rubber lip: 98
Results for VP 12 according DIN EN ISO 11 998:
After 10.000 wiping cycles, less visible effect to hydrophobia

Product line: Textiles (Nanoflex Textil, Tex2, Tex 4)

Approved to
1. DIN EN ISO 14419
2. 50 washings under European household conditions Textile Institute Hohenstein
washing agent: Tandil Color ultra plus 75g temperature 40 C
Result:
Nanoflex Textil was stable till 40 washings.
Nanoflex Tex2 after 50 washings
Food safety:
Migration method: according to 64 LFGB B80.30
(24 hours at room temperature in 15% ethanol solution)
Uncoated textile: 12 mg/dm
NF Textil coated textile: 0,5 mg/dm
Conclusion: the food safety (migration) was improved by Nanoflex

distance 32 cm.
Result: no damage of the coatings, less improvement in contact angle (hydrophobia) and nonstick characteristic.
Abrasion resistance:
See test results of Institute Hohenstein
Remarks: the disappearing of the hydrophobic effect was not caused by a damage of the
coating itself, but by a damage of the textile fiber. On higher textile qualities, Nanoflex can
achieve longer duration

Product line: mineral surfaces (Nanoflex VP 172, AG 1-4, AG)

Main advantage over old technologies:
Nanoflex protects the surface only on the top old and not-permanent technologies enter
some millimeters into the stone. In case that such coatings enter into the surface, the
hydrophobic effect on top will be gone faster, and the hydrophobia under the top will cause a
water-surface ascent. The result: the primal protected surface will be more damageable by the
changing of frost and dew after the protection on the top is gone.
Because Nanoflex is permanent and a top-protection there is absolutely no risk for such an
effect.

Food safety:
Migration method: according to 64 LFGB B80.30
(4 hours at 100 C in 100% water, demineralized)
Uncoated AG: 158,4 mg/dm
NF Textil coated textile: 64,6 mg/dm
Conclusion: the food safety (migration) was improved by Nanoflex
