ABSTRACT

Due to dogmatic and literal interpretations, the theory

of Forms became untenable. Yet, there may be possibilities
that the misinterpretations are somewhat correct, but not in
its entirety. This paper, attempts to make clear, that is,

points to another interpretation. Plato gave hint in his

Seventh Letter: this must support the proposition that there
are Forms and there is something more beyond the Forms.
There are Forms. They are construed as concepts or words or
language or linguistic entities used in dialectic. There is
something more. Linguistic entities cannot encapsulate to
totality of reality, thus limited. More so, Plato does not
accept any overarching theory, except that he encourages
every true philosopher to examine his biases. He must do
beyond philosophy.
