Due to dogmatic and literal interpretations, the theory
of Forms became untenable. Yet, there may be possibilities that the misinterpretations are somewhat correct, but not in its entirety. This paper, attempts to make clear, that is, to
propose
other
interpretations
rendering
the
Forms
tenable. In doing so, it is necessary to diagnose things
that are obscured in what is predominantly known by many about
the
Platonic
misinterpretations,
but
Forms. they
shall
It be
presents used
as
the
departure
points to another interpretation. Plato gave hint in his
Seventh Letter: this must support the proposition that there are Forms and there is something more beyond the Forms. There are Forms. They are construed as concepts or words or language or linguistic entities used in dialectic. There is something more. Linguistic entities cannot encapsulate to totality of reality, thus limited. More so, Plato does not accept any overarching theory, except that he encourages every true philosopher to examine his biases. He must do beyond philosophy.
