Kuching High School Red Crescent Youth Unit

51st Anniversary & Annual Inspection


Kuching High School Red Crescent Youth Unit has successfully organised its 51st
Anniversary & Annual Inspection on Saturday, 25 of July 2015, from 8am to 12pm at
Kuching High School's school hall.
The objective of the 51st Anniversary & Annual Inspection is to award those active
members and members who have contributed to our unit. Other than that, it is to
celebrate our units 51st Anniversary.
The opening ceremony of 51st Anniversary & Annual Inspection was the flag raising
ceremony. And Our unit's Head Section Leader, Darren Tan Chan Wei delivered a
speech, followed by Mr. Tan Kiang Tuang, Kuching High School's principal who is also
our Unit Patron. Malaysian Red Crescent Officer-in-charge, Mr. Andrew Ang also
delivered his speech. Later, the cake cutting ceremony was carried out to mark our units
51st Anniversary.
After that, our Unit Patron, Mr .Tan and our units teacher in charge, Ms. Connie
Jong Liew Sze had accompany Mr. Andrew Ang to inspect our contigent. Our unit had
award to those leaders who had service well to our unit. The awards include excellent,
best and good leaders. Our unit also awarded those members who had rendered their
service to the society who have carried out duty for 80 hours, 150 hours, 200 hours, 250
hours, 300 hours, 350 hours, 450 hours, 500 hours, 550 hours and 600 hours and also
awarded to those members who had raised big amounts of donation for Flag Day Sales
2014. Our unit had gave souvenirs to Mr. Andrew Ang, other schools Red Crescent Youth
Unit representatives and our schools other uniform bodies to appreciate them for
attending this memorable event.
Kuching High School Red Crescent Youth Units 51st Anniversary & Annual
Inspection ended successfully at 12pm sharp. We would like to express our gratitude and
appreciation to the VIPs, ex-leaders, other schools Red Crescent Youth Unit
representatives and our schools other uniform bodies for attending this memorable
event. Once again, congratulations to all our members who were awarded. Best Unit,
Excellent Service.
