MOTION TO REDUCE BAIL

ACCUSED, by himself and unto this Honorable Court, respectfully alleged that:
1.

He, in the above-entitled case, is an accused for Reckless Imprudence Resulting

in Damage to Property, a bailable offense;

2.

He is presently detained in San Ildefonso Municipal Police Station in relation to

above-mentioned case;

3.

He wish to post his bail bond for his provisional liberty pending the trial of the
case;

4.

The amount of bail for the alleged offense based on the National Prosecution
Service Bail Bond Guide is TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND Pesos (P25,000.00);

5.

He being indigent is not capable to post said amount, thus prayed that the same
be reduced.

WHEREFORE, premises considered, herein accused, invoking his

constitutionally guaranteed right to bail, respectfully prays that the bail bond for his
provisional liberty reduced from TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND Pesos (P25,000.00) to
TWELVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED Pesos (P12,500.00).
Other relief and remedies just and equitable are likewise prayed for under
premises.
