SO, WHAT IS KEMO SABE ANYWAY?

Sure, we are an exceptional retail operation with stores

in Aspen, Vail and Las Vegas. We carry the best of the
best Western goods: Hats, Boots, Silver, Leather and
Old West collectables. We have traveled practically every
square inch of the American West to be positively certain we have unique pieces for our Friends and Guests.
But what we really are is The West. At Kemo Sabe
we are obsessed with delivering a shopping experience
that will cause first-time Kemo Sabe Guests to walk out
the door, turn around, look back and ask Who are those
guys anyway? Man are they good!
Our goal is to make every customer a Kemo Sabe
Friend For Life. Judging by how many Friends we have,
I reckon that we have been pretty darn successful at
achieving this goal.
There are a couple descriptive words we like to use:
ROMANCE and SWAGGER. We figure that this book,
tells a pretty good story of what we mean.

Shelly Safir Marolt began her styling career in New York City in the early eighties. She was an editor at Y.M.
Magazine and worked free lance for both print ads and national commercials. Shelly lives in Aspen Colorado
with her husband and two children and is a full time Artist/Painter. Her Studio is open to the public and her
art can be viewed at www.shellysafir.com.
Bernhard Donaubauer has worked as a fine art and fashion photographer internationally for 25 years on a
wide range of advertising campaigns and prestigious fashion magazines. Mr. Donaubauer has photographed
for numerous clients including: Hugo Boss, Yamamoto, Guerlain, Chanel, Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, Jopp,
Bogner and Puma to name a few. His beauty campaign for Laura Biagiotti won him the Italian Art Directors
Award in 1991. He was also nominated and won 18 awards for best editorial in Fashion Photography. As a fine
art printmaker, Bernhard uses platinum-palladium and photogravure techniques to make prints of his work.
Bernhard also creates concepts for fashion catalogs, and works with a small team of professionals from
concept to print.
