I have been involved in all kinds of
work in the kingdom. I have
discovered that discipleship
should start really early.
Strong influences the last all

strong when started at childhood.
I see numerous Timothys' that

The vision of TLMA is to give
Nigerian children and young
adults a christian education
patterned after the salient good
qualities of the old time mission
schools.

Wake up Parents
We crave parents' involvement with their
children's education.
We are passionate about raising
Nigerians of character, honest and
ethically uprightness.
On our own we cannot achieve this, that
is why we welcome parents to come on
board with us on this journey . We can't
have a better tomorrow if our young
ones have lost it. We need you to work
diligently with us in salvaging the future
of our young ones. Where we stop in the
classrooms, you do well to continue at
home.

I want to be remembered as one

who loved the Lord and mankind
as he gave me the opportunity. I
want to be remembered as

WHY THE FUTURE IS

OURS TO MOLD
INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this booklet is to provide students,

parents, prospective parents and teacher advisors
with an in-depth knowledge of what we stand for
as True Light Missionary Academy.
The decisions people make planning their life will
have a lasting effect on their future; however, before
people are handed over the reins of their life to
decide for themselves, at the early stages, someone
decides for our young ones, therefore, it is important
that wise choices are made by parents, counselors,
guardians. and teachers in assisting these young
ones.
This booklet contains a great deal of basic
information to help parent, counselors, guardians
and teachers decide True Light Missionary Academy
as the right choice in the development of our
children.

True Light Missionary Academy is a vision borne out

the desire to give children, especially Nigerian
children and young adults christian education
patterned after the old time mission schools. We are
solemnly committed to academic excellence and
the building of strong, godly and courageous leaders
of tomorrow.
Our mission and vision is to provide according to
God's given ability an excellent christian, Nigerian
education as of old where future leaders of
characters are molded and trained in the best all
round academic tradition

Where We Are
Coming From

OUR HUMBLE
BEGINNING
e started with one child and ended the term
with two children. Things slowly grew from
there and we ended the year with 8 children.
Today we have over 200 children put in our care
ranging from the kindergarten and up to high
school.

The infrastructure is always important in an

academic setting, and we wanted our children to
have a healthy and conducive learning
environment. where they can be safe and at the
same time engage in outdoor sporting activities
that would keep the children's mind and body,
healthy and sharp. That is why we are constantly
expanding. Not just expansion of the physicality but
most importantly in the way we bring God closer to
us.

WE HAD ALWAYS
BEEN IN GOD'S PLAN
SINCE THE
FOUNDATION OF THE
WORLD.
...

James 4:8
From nothing, God showed himself and
helped us.
Today, we have science laboratories, large
and very conducive classrooms and as usual
our constant desire to always grow.
We have parents from different religious
background bring their children to TLMA
because what God touches is perfect.
Because God is involved, we are keen on
discipline and upholding the founding
ideologies that began TLMA.
Welcome to God's own school. Welcome to
continuous growth in Leadership

ENROLMENT

WE CRAVE
Parents' involvement with the
children from onset. We believe
that school is an extension of
the home

Enrolment is open to all demoninations and creed.

Every child with parental consent must however abide
by all the rules, regulations, practices and conditions
laid down by the school authority.

Teachers are partners in the

children's training process. We
expect parents involvement in
the learning process. We expect
parents involvement in the
learning process. This is done by
helping the child to learn at
home.
Parents presence at open days
to inspect their children's work
and interact witht the teachers
is therefore obligatory.
Parents who are too busy to be
involved with their children's
education may be asked to
withdraw their children.

and other tasks that may be required in their learning process.
Ensure that their children are clean and wear correct school uniform.
Ensure that their children are dropped off at school punctually and are picked up at the
right time.
Attend parents teachers fellowship, open days and other school activities to encourage
their children, and help them develop and enjoy school culture.
Find time to talk regularly with their child's teacher to review the child's progress and to
deal with any other matters they may occasionally arise.

We believe
That the Bible is divinely inspired by the Spirit of God - 1Tim
3:16, Heb 1:1-2
That the word of God is inerrant
The authority of the Bible in all matters of faith is supreme.
That Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Ghost and born
of the Virgin Mary.
That he came to the world, lived a sinless life to die for our
sins,
That he voluntary gave his life, shed his blood and died that
mankind might be redeemed.
That sin separates God from man.
That each one as an individual must acknowledge that Jesus
came to save him/her from sin and hell where all unsaved
souls must go.
That only by acknowledging the power in the atoning blood
of Jesus can sin and the desire for sin be removed.
That all who sincerely do the above is saved from sin and is
therefore born again.
In the personality and the work of the Holy Ghost to convict
men of sin and maintain them in salvation.
In the baptism by water and baptism by the Holy Ghost.
In heterosexual relationship between a man and woman in
wedlock and the sanctity of marriage - Heb 13:4
The resurrection of the just and the unjust. The just to eternal
life in heaven, the unjust to eternal damnation and torture in
hell.
In the unity of all the body of believers which is the true
church of Jesus Christ
That it is the duty of all believers to preach the gospel of Jesus
Christ.
